I saw some memes of this game when it first released, but almost nothing after. Even google search didn't bring up many videos. 😂 This was a good test for the apple TV I bought for Dreams Team. It's all set to go! Sonic racing is low-key alot better than I expected. Maps are fun, and the online is leagues better than console. Mechanics aren't quite as good, but still feels fluid regardless.
The fact this version of the game got updates and new tracks and the original console didn’t says a lot Don’t give me wrong, in terms of customization, and the surprisingly, enjoyable, teamwork mechanics, I would say Team Sonic Racing is better. But in general, I think this version is better
How is the post-launch support for this one? New events, tracks or characters? Dream Team looks great but I don't think I can justify spending that much on a used Apple TV almost solely for one game, especially since I've heard it can be 100%ed pretty quick and doesn't have much replay value outside of the usual time trial stuff you'd expect from a Sonic game.
Personally, I think the only thing it has over Team Sonic Racing is getting Classic Sonic and the Green Hill tracks (ironic that it was celebrated, considering how people are sick of it). The gameplay and track design is much more simplistic and slightly boring than TSR. TSR had tracks that are much more "exciting" as being able to flip for boosts and having the track design accommodate to that makes the gameplay more involved if we disregard the team mechanic.
I really wish apple tv could play all ios games, learned it can only play arcade games. Would be fun to play speed battle 16:9, while also being easy to record.
I will forever miss when big the cat had his bike, my main problem with this game is the lack of tricks, i'd honestly be super bored without them Would rather just play og or riders 1
