@@pwoodwardsmith Oh I'd love to see! You're most welcome to share it in my facebook group: facebook.com/groups/PinkPonyPatterns/ or just drop me an email: maria@pinkponydesign.com
Thank you so much for this amazing video tutorial!!!! I have a Frenchie who is behaving badly when people come to my door. I needed a collar that wouldn't bother him and STAYS ON when giving him a correction!! This is it!!!! And it doesn't choke him!!!!!!!!
This looks really lovely and comfy for the dog. Here in England, polypropylene and nylon webbing is stress tested for ultimate strength and performance. The same goes for all kinds of webbing furniture, regardless of it being made from metal or nylon. Please be very careful when purchasing Dee Rings, make sure that they are solid. Bonded nylon sewing threads are usually used for animal products, although I do appreciate that this is probably not possible with a domestic sewing machine. Please also bear in mind that many funky fabrics can shrink! so, wash them before sewing. Have Fun!
Your skinny foot for your Juki, I have one kind of like that but don’t use it often. The reason is my bottom tension is often loose. If I put on the regular foot, no tension problems. I was wondering if you have come across this problem and have needed to do adjustments in order to use it? What foot are you using also. I love your dog collar and will definitely be making some for my 2 labs.
Pink Pony Design Nope, just the bottom. I’m pretty sure my bobbin tension is good. I think it strange it just happens on the narrow foot. I’ll play with it more. Is your bobbin tension fairly snug?
@@LoriKnit I'm so sorry! I think I misunderstood you, when you said bottom tension I thought you meant bobbin tension! If you don't mind, drop me an email maria@pinkponydesign.com with a photo of how the seam looks when you sew with the wide foot, vs when you sew with the narrow one, and we'll see if we can work it out with the help of photos? =) Yeah I have my bobbin fairly tight as I work a lot with heavy fabrics.
There's no pattern, please just follow the instructions in the video on how to measure your dog and fabric in order to get the right size for your dog.
Such a great video - really helpful tips and really clear instructions. The first thing I’ve ever sewn and it fits my dog perfectly 🥰
You have no idea how happy this makes me to hear, thank you! =D
@@PinkPonyDesign I wish I could work out how to share a photo with you 😁
