- There's hunger in Nigeria, yet politicians flagrantly display affluence in the face of anger and hunger. Politicians should as a matter of urgency address food security by assisting the Federal government to fight Insecurity which is driver of this food crisis in Nigeria.

No 1 insecurity brought by the politicians is Boko Haram brought by president Mohammadu Buhari and his brothers like former gov of Kaduna state, El Rufai etc. With the Boko Haram comes the hunger across the length and breadth of Nigeria occasioned by dissertations of farms by farmers due to insecurity
It's very hard for me to understand why the Nigerian news media space is occupied by people like this lady named Ayo. The guest of the program, Mike Ejiofor, who is not in government or public office in any capacity, gave his personal opinions to how insecurity was created by politicians and how it could be addressed, at least reduced to tolerable levels. This empty headed female host of the show went back to accuse Ejiofor of not answering her question. Yet these same tv personalities pretending to be journalists would not have the courage to ask politicians pertinent questions when they have the opportunity. No, she wants Mr Ejiofor to solve on tv the insecurity problems bedeviling Nigeria, without the benefit of real information available to only those in power.
The federal police is already guilty of what Abati is alleging proposed state police of. The remedy here is the adherence to the rule of law.
There is no doubt insecurity is the problem, id farmers can't access their farms how can there be food production. Fix the insecurity, fix the electricity, fix the roads, and the fuel price and Nigeria will be on good footing.
