Already have 5 or 6 edison decks made, but I recently made a list of almost 30 other edison decks I want to make. (Will see how many I keep, but likely close to half). @Zuczid oh, I've already had ideas for several decks you have made. I just didn't know a decent way to build around certain cards. But now I'm getting better ideas for edison deck crafting. Your decklists help, but I often tweak to fit my locals (maybe 4 or 5 other players, most with only 1 deck) I wish you well in your yugi tuber career. But selfishly I kinda don't want you to get too popular, that way these gimmick decks are a lot more surprising to my opponents
According to datamining, we are getting an Edison format! Small caveat - it’s only going to be in the game for 3 days as a “Duel Trial” event, then it’ll disappear forever just like the GOAT event. Thanks Konami, exactly what we wanted. Love the series idea though - hope it’s something you’re able to stick with before you inevitably hit the brink of insanity 😅
Not quite Edison format though. It was datamined to be a 2010 event, with the cutoff point being all cards released in the OCG up until November 2010 or Storm of Ragnarok. So 4 extra core sets compared to Edison. So the meta will be vastly different in comparison. Since we now have power cards like Scrap Dragon and Pot of Duality. So its a format that is 9 months after Edison, but 6 months before Tengu Plant. So some in-between period.
It's very funny to me that you're trying this, because i very recently tried to win some games in MD with that Sasuke Samurai creature swap deck from a few videos ago. It didn't go well, but I had fun nonetheless.

If Konami adds Edison format, I'll be more active on that game. Honestly, Master Duel needs alternative formats, heck, even like in tag force series = play against the CPU/ai.
yeah it’s really annoying there is nothing besides limited solo and pvp, especially because they literally have the ai fights coded into the game with solo mode. so what’s the point in not having it? i simply do not feel like playing against people all the time. that’s why i’ve been playing duel links recently lol, also because of the much weaker format.
I worry about your mental health sometimes. Might be worth considering battle tricks like Magic Cylinder, Amazoness Swords woman, Battle Fader, etc. Tributing is also very strong removal in modern so you could run monarchs, soul ex, lava golem. Share the Pain also gets around unaffected monsters. The 2k attack threshold is still pretty important against most monsters that aren't specifically Kashtira. Edison burn/battle tricks might be your best bet at closing games faster. In lower ranks people will also just kill themselves if you play skull invitation or fatal abacus. Please don't hurt yourself.
I LOVE IT! Unfortunately my skull servant grind was when master duel first came out so I am not as familiar with the new combos but if I ever start playing a modern deck it will be the new bone boys for sure!
lmfao okay for a second i was like wow last opponent is insane for summoning Kimono in attack without a dragon in hand, but it’s your awesome anti special summon dinosaur. That guy is CRAZY.
put a youtube video on second monitor or shrink the non full screen master duel window. you will have a WAAAAY better time that way. also high hand trap count will take the wind out of the opponents sails DRASTICALLY reduce time spent watching combos with zero interaction.
Your best bet is probably stun, but Montage dragon otks could be funny. Some people when made go 2nd just pass. On lower leagues you have people playing jank and bricking left and right. So maybe it could work xD

Welcome to "pay to win in Masterduel" where any idiot with a credit card and a decklist off of the internet can instantly start playing meta, where it's all about the winning and not about dueling, having fun or actual deck building, and where the love of a goofy deck is like wearing a bacon bathing suit in a pool full of piranhas!🤣 It is both sad and terrible that even a rookie 2 beginner will start out with a full internet build of something op and meta, but that is where MD is at. It gets to where you look forwards to the bot matches lol.Those of us who love playing pure "goofy" archetype decks like Ojama, Kozmo, Yosenju, Jinzo, Cupids, Aquaactress, Kuriboh, Penguins... or goofy scratch built decks like an all vegetable card plant deck, Koalas and Kangaroos, a mummy deck, Iron Chain with all chain linkable cards... we have to have some stupid power decks to even gem farm, much less compete on the ladder. Luckily I have a friend to play with who has a similar philosophy, so we do get to have some really weird but awesome duels where it'll be corn cards against his coin flip deck for example lol. And yes, I have done my best before to build some of your deck lists to see how they would fare in MD as well! I am at least lucky in that I have built a few "not OP but competitive and annoying to play against decks" that I can still have fun with, like Harpies, Amazement, Suships, and my all time favorite pure Reptillianne when I play on the ladder, and then when I get really annoyed I can whip out Evil Eye or a decent burn deck until I feel better XD Great vid this one, I have been hoping for ages that I would get to see you on MD and that plus you playing your insane Edison decks is like a bonus on a bonus lol. I admire the drive to be number 1 masochist, however you will not succeed. I've already been there and done that. Granted it was with DDD, I still lost too many games in diamond just to never get master. I eventually became a meta sheep and played shs to break master 1.
I felt multiple times before that montage dragon can win a lot of games on MD, and at least each duel is fast

I think chaos fairies could go pretty hard. You cant play a deck without a stun aspect, so guess blackwing and hero beat would just suck
