Fantastic play by Momochi. Extremely ambiguous EX Tatsus, performing Kara Shoryuken as anti-air consistently (and in combos off of 2 light hit confirms). He really leverages both his technical and mind-game Yomi for a very deadly combination.
***** Momochi is my fav player. He is arguably the hottest player right now. Winning SEAM and getting 2nd at CEO....then getting 7th at EVO....he has great reads and crazy footsies....sometimes Ken as a character holds him back because he was low tier for so long..now he is most likely mid/high tier...and look at how momochi is beasting.....love me some Momochi!
I agree and is probably my favorite player to watch, but you don't really see a whole lot of other Kens at big tournaments, so being the best with Ken isn't really that impressive. I hope we gonna see more Kens soon, as he seems pretty strong in USF4.
GoldenHairAngel thats only because older versions of ken were considered mid/low tier so many dropped him. Remember back in ssf4 vanilla, there were tons of kens everywhere....but as the game got older, most realized that he was a bad character so they dropped him. Just had 2 many bad matchups. But Momochi stuck with him thru it all...now that he got buffs in Ultra...look at how well Momochi is doing...his skill...with a crazy mixup character like Ken is sooooo hard to deal with...THIS GUY BEAT KAZUNOKO AT SEAM DAMN NEAR OFF OF FOOTSIES ALONE!!! Lol....No Ken should be able to do that. Just a testament of how great Momochi is as a player. But I do believe that more Ken's will emerge now. Heck, even got Playerjun to dust off the stick and get back at it. Lol
BigHern58 Yeah, that's true about SF4 and beating Kazunoko like that was very impressive considering Yun being pretty strong now too and just the fact alone that it was Kazunoko, lol.
