Stray Kids are self-producing by the way. They write their own lyrics and produce a majority of songs, the leader (Bang Chan= blue hair in this MV) has over 120 song writing credits at this point. They're insanely talented.

bang chan, who is their leader, is the one who made their logo! it's literally his own handwriting. They also named themselves, which I'm pretty sure they are the only kpop group to do so, and the ceo of their company allowed bang chan to personally select the members of their group, which has also never been done before because companies go through a very careful and thorough process to create a group that they think will be successful. The fact that their logo was created by them, the group members were selected by the leader, they named themselves, they write all their own music and they produce almost all their music and they're STILL one of the most successful kpop groups, prove their insane amount of talent and hard work. being a fan of them is so worth it.

Wondering what the bird has to do with it? The song is called maniac, everything in this mv references back to that word. The drill is something psychiatrist used to use for lobotomies back in the day to "fix"insanity. The bird references the book One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, a book set in an insane asylum. They reference screws because when you are different or odd you say you have a few screws loose, and this song is about unleashing your inner true self so they reference Frankenstein because he created the monster who in reality is a reflection of his true self. The two worlds in the mv represents the fake world we live in and mask ourself in while the dark shift world is our inner self constantly hidden. Stray Kids never do anything half way and Nothing is ever random; every aspect, image, choreography, reference has meaning. 3RACHA are producing geniuses. Period."

Welcome to STAYville :) There are 8 members, but it's hard to tell from this video because HAN got injured and didn't appear in many of the choreo segments. And you are right, STAY usually just love all the members. It's hard to choose! I relate most to Lee Know (the high note at the beginning) and I.N (the one who split into many versions of himself), but I love them all and can't really choose. (by the way, it was Lee Know outside the diner, looking in on I.N who split into many versions of himself.)
They all sing, rap, dance, song write, and three of them produce all their music. The rapper with the fuzzy white hat on the subway is HAN, he is also a very strong vocalist and one of the producers. He's the one singing at 1,26.
The vocalist you hear in the background is Bang Chan (the leader). I.N (the maknae) also does some of the background vocals at the end of the song.

They are not only the KINGS OF 4TH GEN but are THE NEW KINGS OF K-POP (IMO) This entire album is 🔥 Actually their entire discography is 🔥 Easy is my favorite SKZ track and GOD’S MENU is a FKN MASTERPIECE. Love these guys. They are different! Freeze, Venom and Lonely Street just come out off the new album. After that Gods Menu, Thunderous. They have the best B-side tracks. No bias… these are amazing.

I'm so glad you're discovering Stray Kids! Your joy is contagious and so lovely to see. For some basic info: there are 8 members, most of them both rap and sing and they all dance. The vocals you liked came from Lee Know (purple hair), Seungmin, I.N., Han (rapper on the train), and the end vocals over the chorus are Bang Chan (leader, blue hair guy at the beginning). Hyunjin was the red hair guy with the little solo bit in the middle, Felix is the blonde with the super deep voice. Changbin was the excellent rapper. They are all super versatile and Stray Kids don't really do genre. Every song off their newest album (ODDINARY) is a different style or genre. Stray Kids self produce and their producing unit are known as 3racha (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han), but the others write on stuff too. They also pretty frequently make unit songs where they mix up a few members and play to their specialty- for example their is a hilarious song called Maknae on Top that Bang Chan and Changbin wrote with I.N. the maknae (youngest), but a wild diverse range from a classic hiphop sounding track Muddy Water with the rap line, some accoustic guitar soft rock influence with the vocal line on Waiting For Us, and then some random completely different stuff like Red Lights (Bang Chan and Hyunjin- one of the lead dancers).
They are serious artists and you will definitely find something to appreciate about every member. They released 4 music videos in the last 2 weeks. Following this was Venom, Lonely St., Freeze. They're all new songs. If you love a vocal though Waiting For Us from the vocal line is probably one for you to check out. If you want one of the songs that took off before this album some of the biggest were God's Menu, Thunderous, and Back Door. Dive right in, I think you will have a lot of fun- oh and the fandom are called Stays.

He is one of the main rappers (that can also sing perfectly and high as hell) and is also one of the three main producers (the other two are: Bang Chan, the leader, with blue hair, and Changbin, with green streaks of hair).
Glad you liked Stray Kids! You have no idea, these guys are truly amazing. I'm not a kpop fan in general, but I love Stray Kids. They don't have a single style of music, they have several, which different people with different tastes can fully enjoy. Even so, when we hear their new stuff we always recognize that the songs they make are their own sound because I can't even imagine other groups making the songs these guys make :D And you are right... I've been a Stay for a year and I still do not have a favourite, they really complement each other.

For me, I have absolutely fallen in love with Stray Kids. They’re all eight truly beyond talented. As for this song, it’s been stuck in my brain from day one-I could listen to it on repeat 24/7, except for the fact the rest of the album and their discography is also fire!!! Just wait until you see the MV for Venom. Holy moly. Oh, and they’re AMAZING live, also!!!
Bruh, if this is your introduction to Stray Kids, I feel for your next few months. I could say that their recent album charted as #1 on Billboards top 200, I could tell even tell you they are the tops of 4th gen...but they also produce/write lyrics to over 90% of their songs...they also won Kingdom last year. Ryan Reynolds is also a fan. Can hardly wait for your deep dive into them.
I'm a stay for less than a month and I feel I'm drowning literally. They are like drugs I have to see either m/vs or random clips of them interacting. I watch for hours daily. Like my life stopped 😩😭 when will this phase end???

I know Maniac was my introduction to Stray Kids, I hadn't even listened to Kpop before except in passing and now... I've completely lost track of how many videos I've watched and songs I've listened to for Stray Kids in the month since I fell head-first into the Staydom.
Edit: seriously, in the past month there hasn't been a single moment where I didn't have one of their songs playing in my head. I've never loved a group enough to want to go to a concert before but I was looking for a Stray Kids one only a few days after I met them.

Stray Kids Debut in 2018 with 9 members lost one Woojin in 2009 for personal reasons. Bang Chan (blue hair) is their leader from Australia. He is the vocals you hear in the back ground with high notes. He trained for 7 years starting at age 13 yrs old and hand picked all Stray Kids members before going on a reality TV elimination show called Stray Kids. They had to prove they were Stray Kids Material. Bang Chan also created the name Stray Kids and the logo in his own hand writing. His first members were Changbin (green highlight hair and green sweeter) main rapper and listed 2021 as k-pop #1 fastest rapper, Han (white fluffy hat on subway) Han was also listed in the top 10 of K-pop fastest rappers. The 3 members formed a sub rap unit called 3Racha within Stray Kids and they not only have some bad AF raps they are the ones who write, compose, arranged and produce 99.9% of Stray Kids own music. sometimes the other members also help in written songs or have a credited written songs. .
All of stray kids can rap, dance and have amazing vocals. Here is the other members names. Felix (deep voice) was born from Australia moved to Korean at age 17 with out knowing how to speak Korean. Lee Know was the first vocal you heard that did the high note in the café diner. He use to be a back up dancer for BTS on one of their Japanese tours in 2017. I.N. is the one that had the chorus where multiple of his self come out of him and had 1 pink eye is a vocalist and has a beautiful angel vocals. Hyunjin (red hair) was cast from the street and is their visual but don't be deceived he is an amazing dancer has some solo dance videos and was featured on artist of the month for studio choom. He also has amazing high voice and in 2021 in the tope t0 fastest rappers. Suengmin is the one cutting the first string is a vocalist and has a very powerful soothing voice.
All of the 7 tracks on this album are fire. I am not saying this because i am bias to stray kids but this is their best album to date. That being said all of their music is good and they have all kinds of music because they love to experiment with sound, beats and genres sometimes having many of all 3 in one song. Stray Kids loves to spoil their fans and no one does it like stray kids. They have trailers for album releases that are like watching a moved, the best transition's on a music video and very high quality videos.
This album hit #1 on billboard 200 charts and managed to have 30 records on the charts for best album, most sales and so many more. Not just for the song manaic but Venom, Lonely St, and Freeze and even one that does not have a video Charmer track.
out of 7 tracks on this album we have 4 m/vs un heard of for k-pop. Love to see you react to the other m/v for this album Freeze m/v, Venom m/v and Lonely St m/v but you also need to react to Gods menu m/v this is the song that basically put them on the map so to speak and Back Door m/v (both from InLife album), Thunderous m/v (from No Easy full album). If you check out or react to these I highly suggest to watch their pre debut m/v Hellevator m/v and District 9 m/v to see how they started and how good they were in the beginning but have growth since then. You will fall in love with these guys. They are such crazy characters and have a great chemistry as a group.

Your reaction is pretty close to what mine was when I heard "God's Menu". Then I moved through their whole discography. They are solid performers who just get better. This latest EP is chef's kiss beginning to end in my opinion. Most will point you to "God's Menu", "Back Door", "Thunderous", "Victory Song", "Miroh", etc. I am pretty partial to their b-sides. I love "Any", "The Tortoise and the Hare" (very experimental which I love), "All In" (Japanese release), "Easy", "Cheese", "Red Lights" (unit song), "Domino", "SSICK", "Christmas Evel", and pretty much the entire new Oddinary EP. I think you will love discovering them. Even if you don't love every song, it's hard not to appreciate how they write nearly everything and take so many risks in their producing style.

8 member group, debuted 03/25/18,. Hard to have a bias in this group, they are all amazing. They all rap, sing and dance to a high level, they started out with specialties but now they all do everything. Their 3 member production sub-unit, 3Racha, has credits or co-credits for writing, production, arrangement on almost all their releases, and all members have contributed lyrics and/or music to several tracks.
Check out the lyric video for Muddy Water from this same mini album, it's a unit release by 4 members from the rap line, paying homage to '90's rap, but with their own spin. Color coded lyric videos are a great way to learn the members voices and faces since they highlight each name and photo as they sing. All 7 tracks from this mini album are amazing.
You might enjoy their dance videos. They have dance practice videos and performance videos which show mostly the dance, and very fun are the relay dances, made to fit a vertical phone screen format, they are really fun versions of the regular choreography and some of them include out-takes too. Studio Choom performances are great.
For past work, check out, well, almost everything to be honest, but I'd start with Double Knot, Easy, Side Effects, God's Menu, Thunderous, Back Door and the unit release Red Lights.
It's very hard to have a bias in Stray Kids. But Hyunjin does it for me because of his dance moves and charisma. But I honestly love all of them.

I always say he reminds me of a bouncy ball because he bounces and it’s cute :) the one with green through his hair is Changbin the one with the white hat on is my favorite member jisung aka Han. Great introduction to stray kids! Maniac truly slaps, but in my opinion (and it's really biased lmao) all their songs do. They are a group which strongly delivers on the rap part. Their rappers are Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix but honestly, they are so multitalented that they all do a little bit of everything. No surprise to see Hyunjin, Felix and Han with god like vocals in this track. The first High Note you pointed out was by Lee Know. The singer with the super deep voice that delivers the first 'maniac' (blond hair) is Felix. His natural deep voice is always the cherry on top of their songs in my opinion and I'm so happy to see him shine in this comeback. Guy with the red hair is Hyunjin, Blue hair is Chan who is also the leader of the group. The first rap in the train scene is delivered by Han immediately followed by Changbin (green highlights in the hair). Seungmin is the one who cuts the first string in the scene with the white bg. He is a super talented vocalist. And the last to point out is I.N He is the lead in the café scene after the 'cutting the thread scene' coming in hot with super smooth vocals.

lemme tell you skz has one of the strongest raplines in Kpop as well as amazing vocalists.
They are self-forming( picked by leader), self-producing, write their own lyrics and participate in choreography making. Debuted 2018.
They don't have 1 sound but I'd say is it's mostly hype, loud and hiphop but they are the most versatile and experimental group because of their freedom to do so
All 8 members sing,rap and dance so they dropped the titles of 'main rapper/singer' since they do it all.
Bang chan-24yrs ( leader) HAN-21yrs and Changbin-22yrs are the producing group of skz known as 3racha(pronounced threeracha).
Lee know-23yrs (dance leader), Felix-21yrs (deep voice) and Hyunjin-22yrs, are the dance unit aka danceracha (and visualracha, the pretty squad lol).

Since you liked "maniac", you will love SKZ' discography. The guys are so good at creating bangers. however they love experimenting and you will meet lots of different genres, if you go into the b-sides. along the mini-album 'oddinary' ('maniac' is its title track) is very diverse. Stray Kids Fandom is known as Stay. Now you should watch God's Menu!! One of my favorites of theirs, also if you're interested there is also Taemin he's like the Michael Jackson of Korea! I suggest his MV Advice, or Move. He's phenomenal and he also happens to be really good friends with Jimin from BTS and Kai from EXO who is also 🔥! Kai has a song called Peaches that is awesome!

Hi AB. I loved watching your reaction to my favorite group - STRAY KIDS! You are so entertaining and I loved how you really got into their music. That's how it is with STRAY KIDS! One MV not mentioned much here is "RED LIGHTS". It's by Bang Chan and Hyunjin and I believe it released last year. RED LIGHTS is my number one song and video by them. It's not hardcore but has a special vibe all it's own. Chan explains it's about addiction/obsession, in this case, with writing music/songs. This video will leave a lasting impression. They not only produce the blueprint of their songs (coz they work with other producers by the company), but their team was handpicked by their leader, the blue haired Bang Chan. The logo is his as well! You might encounter the word "3racha" more in their album credits and that's Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin who have been releasing their songs on soundcloud before the company gave them an opportunity to officially debut along with the other members Bang Chan picked.
They are experimental and innovative, and they're a genre of their own! Their song "God's Menu" (2020) earned them a reputation for being a "Mala-taste Genre Pioneer".

My boys! Self-produced. They write and compose and produce their music. They also have a hand in the choreography. They're an established group, the darlings of JYP, a few years old now. Every song they make is a hit. They do a lot of fusion type songs, EDM, dubstep, rap, funk, you name it. They're geniuses. The first high note was Lee Know, with purple hair. The background high notes and vocals are Bang Chan, the leader of the group, with blue hair. Every single member can sing. like... SANG! And every single member can rap (see Maze of Memories lyrics video). Deep voiced Felix and blue haired Bang Chan are Australian. I'd recommend Venom and Freeze MVs from this album, and Thunderous and God's Menu MVs are awesome too. My fav song of theirs is Side Effects. These are not your typical Kpop boys. :D
