- Last Tuesday, a mail carrier was doing her job on Artesian and Belton, walking down this sidewalk in a familiar neighborhood. What she didn't know was that thieves had their eyes on her.
When I was young they never robbed the mail man. He brought the checks.

It doesn't hit the news because they aren't "Federal" connected and there is no such thing as FedEx or UPS Investigators to investigate. Just the local police. Some of the drivers I worked with were threatened with weapons for the packages, had packages stolen off the trucks while the driver was still in the truck, and had packages grabbed right out of their arms on the way to porches. Do some research.

The problem is it's not punishable by death anymore. We figured out over two hundred years ago how important it was to not allow theft or tampering related to the postal service. But now the maximum you can get for it is five years. That's insane.

My hometown never surprises me, criminals in Detroit give 0 Fs. Daytime, nighttime it doesn’t matter. I saw a guy try to rob everyone at a bus stop on 8 mile near mound with his hand in his pocket like he had something, not sure if he got anything most of us just walked away. The first time I fired an AK was in our front yard on conant near Remington street and the cops never came, a friend said it would go through a brick wall and I didn’t believe him. It did, broad daylight too and this was 20 years ago so I’m sure it’s really lawless now. People only stay in the D because they have no other option, I got out as soon as I could afford it and will never live there again. If they’re not robbing the mailman they’re robbing each other, McDonald’s has bulletproof glass just like liquor stores. It was once a great city but that was very long ago.

Well, I hate to tell you that won't work. A postal worker was robbed at an apartment complex I lived in several years ago in Pontiac, MI. They were delivering to individual mailboxes until that happened. A large mail tower was installed at a central location near the management office for people to use their individual keys to pick up their mail. Unfortunately, when the postal worker opens the entire tower it takes them awhile to place mail in all those mailboxes, which is even easier to rob.
One mail carrier was recently robbed ,they are taking the trucks .

Yes they want those keys to those blue mailboxes many drop checks they have written ,they wash them and fill out a larger amount on them. This they use in stealing from your accounts and since this is ,most it must be gang related . They also want SSI checks, commit identity theft and more The last postal carrier just a little over a week ago was unalived, they followed her truck ,ditched it,burned it up after getting what they wanted out of it. This was in Chicago and I am sure someone will come forward,say who did this as there is a $250,000 reward .
