I have been waiting for what feels like forever for this. I tracked the thread on MFG. Watched the early developments. I remember when you first dropped Saito, when Soujiro still had a few Hibiki blend sprites left in the SFF. I've watched the char drops since then with excitement. You take your time, you create intricate characters that make button mashing a pointless concept. Tact and Strategy against opponents comes into play and has to adjust depending on who you're fighting. I've always been greatly impressed by your effort, your dedication to create something wholely unique while still honoring Manga and the Shonen Style anime bases. Outstanding job. Thank you.

What if Runouni Kenshin fighting games done in Unreal Engine, and do crossover with Samurai Showdown, Last Blade or Soul Calibur?

The Last Blade characters were used as basis for some sprites maybe.Actually,Last Blade characters were based of Rurouni Kenshin characters because the creator of Rurouni Kenshin loves the Samurai Shodown series.It's a really cool game,keep it up!! :)

The sprites are really nice in your fan-game and yes,I love the fighting system in that game (well, in many snk games anyway).Also,may i suggest something about the movelists and character's backstory?
Could you please make the movelists in html as they are in your website? this way they could be easier to understand,like Hyper Dragonball Z mugen game,if you haven't checked it out.It's just a suggestion,keep it up :)

Wow, the game looks good. When i was a kid, i always wanted a Samurai X fighting game with 2D sprites similar to X-Men Children of the Atom or Samurai Showdown, instead all we had was an awful ps1 game with crappy 3D models and even worse gameplay. You were better off just playing SamSho or Bushido Blade

ForgottenWarrior999 yes you can play with a pad or stick. Just set your buttons in the options menu under "input config"

That's not a SS hack that's mugen.
I'm not sure how many sprites he used from the SS series but I do know that he got a lot of sprites from The Last Blade series (also made by SNK)
Basically he frankensprited sprits from different sources and edited them to look like Rurouni Kenshin characters and coded the moves.
I think the stages were done by others in a similar fashion, by ripping it from the game.

Its just samurai showdown with kenshin, I expect more from anime games with the dbz/naruto titles out now, this looks like a mugen.
Ehhhh I dont think every anime game has to have a Dragon Ball FighterZ or Naruto Storm level production. I'd still take a anime fighting game that looked like Samurai Showdown (Or in this case more accurately The Last Blade) I think there's room for different types of anime games. If anything I wish there were more anime games in different genres besides fighting games. A "Tales Of" like anime action rpg would be sick for example.
