@@ThatRacingChannel Maybe it's because you are waiting for more power but your 3rd and 4th gears are too tall for a quarter mile; you are not at high rpms at the finish line. Do you know that black shirts make you hotter?
@@johnlilley9363 the "AWD system" is a Honda CRV rear end and a driveshaft which lets say is 200lbs, then turbo kit say another 100lbs, with 0 weight reduction that brings it from 2750 ish to 3050. even then id expect it to win with a HP advantage and being 600lbs lighter. thats also what id assume is a C8 making 495hp crank and an RSX making 500hp to the wheels, so an even bigger gap
Yo should look into adding an electric AC compressor! I am using one from a Prius here so no draw on the motor and it is a wonderful luxury to have in Florida! It comes in such handy when I am at the track and can launch with the AC on and it runs on its own battery too.

I am running a separate battery for it in the trunk. All electric. Its not perfect, but it works, and thats all that matters to me. Its actually incredibly straight forward and easy. Its just a normal compressor that uses direct power to run it rather than a motor and pulley system.

I'll get a rematch ( with Javier's old TRC Evo) once his RSX has a built engine. Then it will be sequential on sequential. Javier will have his work cut out for him. He knows how fast and sorted the TRC Evo is.

remember how cool evo's were before converting boosted hondas too awd became more common place ? lol jk nice cars but it does take away that awd turbo star that mainly only evos carried....k series just a superior engine and parts are easy to come by.
Acura rsx( Honda) is only 2-3k with a sequential transmission going for 10-15k plus labor. Is still way less then a c8 msrp of 65k. So idk why they can’t compete
@@Kj4real just because it can be bought cheaper doesn’t mean it’s not in a whole other league of competition, it just means the Honda guy spent his money wisely and built a car and the corvette guy just walked in a dealership with a down payment, which is fine. Just not the move I make if you’re still going to be outclassed these 20k Hondas you speak of.

I'm taking a guess for the QM in next video 10.4@127.32 on WG, 10.11@130.75 on the higher setting "off the trailer". Once you get into the prime ~80% efficiency range of that 6466 the damn thing is going to hurt even more feelings. 👏👏👏
great video great review great swap men. and i been telling my honda fam it is time to go sequential... is the best manual transmission but ppl think is automatic but no is manual & don't need clutch when racing just when going slow speed & on complete stop. in my opinion is way better then DCT honestly. DCT is the upgrade on automatic & sequential is the upgrade on manual.
See...this engine and all wheel drive setup makes me want to sneak stuff like this under the body of my lovely 72 Pinto Half-hatch. I don't think an awd platform from Ford would be as compact and hold up. I'm just not feeling the vibes of NOT keeping a Ford a Ford front to back.

I love that the initial comparison for this car was a C8 CORVETTE and he blew the DOORS off it.
to be fair, its a 3600lb car making 495 to the crank, vs what is probably 2500lbs making 500 to the wheels, not surprised

I am not a professional but I think either the final drive or just the last gear or two are too long could also have been the heat
