    I don’t like the idea of the devs messing with my LS, but I do agree it needs a change. I’ll share the direction I want to see healing take.
    I think a healing change with LS to make it require a second “healing” weapon would make better and more skill based healing.
    Lean into LE’s unique ability to grant bigger heals based on the number of LS buffs on the target.
    But make the change that those buffs don’t have to just be LS buffs, but not every buff should work either because it would be too easy to keep them up. If only we had support weapons that grant buffs and scale off of focus… oh wait we do, the Flail and Void Gauntlet do just that.
    This essentially creates subclasses of healers. A flail healer (aka paladin) and the aggressive healer (aka mage healer). I could also see the argument of putting Ice Gauntlet into this mix, but for now I’ll focus on the focus weapons and why this would be a better change.
    Right now LS is a primary weapon and pumps out insane heals without much skill, but make those heals based on how many focus weapon buffs are on the target and now you create the opportunity to get some high skill plays that are rewarding.
    Rework the LS so the ONLY single target heal is LE, then rework LE so that it’s not giving any larger heals than DE currently does without sufficient buffs on the target.
    With the flail being a thing the LS doesn’t need any fortify so remove orb of protection and replace it with an escape ability (meaning something like the dash it had in beta, or someone else suggested an aimed AoE root effect with the size and aim controls of Sacred ground). That way when the healer swaps their rapier out for a flail or VG they’re not sitting ducks to the kill squad.
    Giving LS an escape and making it not able to use a rapier for escape (without GREATLY reducing the heal output of LS) means, with our current flail and VG offhands, a healer will have 2 escape abilities in their arsenal at most. 2 is a fair amount considering all other classes usually have 2 and healer hunters go for 3+ movement/lockdown abilities or are ranged and don’t need to close that gap.
    Controversial change, but make sacred ground a significantly smaller DoT, but make it effect healing the same way. And potentially make it larger. It should be able to sustain the damage of 5 DoTs, but mostly be used to make LE/other sources a larger heal.
    This creates 2 types of group healers (like I said before) the paladin will be up with their group throwing fortifies down, so that they can eventually cast a life saving LE if the situation calls for it.
    Then there’s the VG mage healer. Who will also be nearer to their team. Casting not as many buffs as the paladin and those buffs being mostly empowers, but they will also be giving a lot more debuffs on the enemy, so they’ll naturally do less healing with LE, but they should be able to do a decent amount under ideal conditions.
    Clap (aka Splash of Light) should also be reworked to be a cleanse and a HoT instead of a burst heal. This will make it supplemental healing meant to keep people up through DoTs, but also that HoT is a LS buff, so it will boost LE.
    DE will obviously have to be reworked. I’m thinking another HoT with a small burst instead of a cleanse and make it an Aimed AoE and no longer a Single Target heal and make it no longer keybind aimed. Only LE should be keybind Aimed as the only Single target Heal.
    These changes means a standard group healer will choose the following abilities:
    LE as their life saving burst heal (but now they have to charge it up so it takes skill),
    and the Dash or Root as an escape option,
    then their choice of a cleanse and HoT with Splash of Light,
    Sacred Ground will give their Flail or VG healing a boost as well as their LS getting a boost, but they only get that boost in a stationary area.
    Or DE with a small burst and a HoT in an AoE, so potentially they could hit multiple people with it. And it takes bow takes some effort to use it. (It’s also worth considering making the burst based on the number of buffs as well, but to a smaller burst than LE).
    Then if they choose flail.
    They’ll use barrage as an escape, but also it grants fortify so that’s a buff for LE healing.
    Or if they choose VG they’ll have scream for their escape, as well as it granting nice debuffs.
    This change would make it much riskier for PvP healers to run light armor, so it will make medium at least an option for lower skill healers, but at the cost of performance.
    Would also be fun to see a new focus secondary weapon added that scales solely with Focus and instead of HoTs and Burst heals it applies buffs that grant Lifesteal/leech. If done right it could be both a main hand healing weapon used with either flail or VG or a secondary weapon used with LS.

    Only seems to affect the elemental split scaling DoT runeglass gems. My Ignited Exhilarate on my GA with only Con does exactly 8% of the damage, but my WH with Augmented Arboreal does 7% DoT damage.
    This stuff reminds me of patching for Overwatch with all the bugs that get introduced during bugfix patches.

    Artifacts were a mistake. Yet at the same time it shows how poorly they are doing in general. I am surprised they haven't reached out to you for contract work

    Anyone else have the bug upon joining or leaving an OPR match where "title unlocks" CONTANTLY appear? It happens every damn time. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, verifying files and so many other things but nothing fixes it. Went as far as to equip all of the said titles but nothing works.

    I cant agree about BB, its rampant on my server in OPR with FS or GA. GA is most played because of Abyss and BB or FS is next, these even more than bow. Bow has decreasd a lot since scaling change

    Funny. I think this is the first game I've played, where instead of wanting new content, I'd prefer a massive bug fixing patch. Lol

    Oh please like I didn't see this coming lol..... there are so many UI bugs that are still in this game that have been around since beta. Thinking AGS are capable of fixing anything without missing something or even without completely breaking something else at this point is just wishful thinking.

      ​@@propersod2390They've had over 2 years to fix some of these bugs but haven't and the fact that every fix breaks more things is disheartening. It's laughable at this point. I mean, even 2 years later they can't even add something as simple as swimming animations..smh.

    I took a 3 month break and have now been back for about 2 months and I am already getting exasperated again. I almost with they would shut the entire game down for 3 months and just do waves of adjustments with a closed beta of experience testers from the community. I’m so exhausted of everything being broken.

    I get the impression that you do more testing and understand their product more than they do. I also agree that I don't care for the bs portions of the videos vs. actually addressing/fixing things. The support for this game just lacks and is getting worse. The company I am in is a major player and half of our players are playing Palworld now. I just wonder how much longer I can last with this game.

    hi did you had the other bug too ???? it was Harnessing perks and runeglasses with +2% ele dmg dont affect the split anymore (example : before was 1137 / 1439 cause the elem. side was buffed by 20% + ele dmg. (cause armor and runeglasses) but now its just split 50/50 without buffing. (i dont watched the full video maybe you said it)

    The only game in the industry who manages to fix 1 thing just to break 10 others. Also how come mecrow is able to do the math correctly in his free time but the actual game devs who are getting paid not able to? It is pathetic, makes me wonder if this game even has a dev team at all

      What 10 things did they break in this weeks patch? Also palworld - the most played steam game rn got its first ever patch yesterday that wiped everyone's save files on private servers they paid for 🤣🤣 was a patch that fixed 3 bugs btw

    I run Pestilence and find it works very well for pvp. I guess I will take another BB out to the target dummies and test it but are you saying the gems are causing the issue?

      Because they'd destroy light melee if they do. They are building code for this where they can separate gear load and weapon dmg which is the only way. If you buff light as well you buff range, so it's just not possible now to balance weapons and loads across all combos

      @@snakeskins777 I mean, anyone can disagree with anything, but you will need to give me exemples to change my mind.
      On the PVE side of things, they are doing very few : a new dungeon every few months and occasional system changes to tradeskills/dungeons. Its not what i call "working".
      On the PVP side, we have 1 opr map and 2 arena maps that rotates every few weeks (might aswell having only one at this point). Wars are extremely elitist so its basicaly closed up for the extreme majority of the playerbase.
      I mean for you it may be enough and thats fair, but good luck convincing me im wrong. Also game peaks at 14k worldwide these days, remove the bots and you maybe have 10k players on different servers and regions. I think these numbers shows im right

    Dmg reduce does not work in duels afaik

      I tested in duels where the scaling is present. There is a duel scaling file that mirrors the changes present in other pvp game modes.
