Soloqueue would probably be the single worst thing they could do for OPR, especially if you think the game is dead lol. The last thing they should do is split up their queues. 20v20 game mode should just grant the team with fewer/worse stacks better solos.
No. If you stack 5 man that have vvery fight mmr and apply 1.3 multiplier means they will get total potatos to their team to balance this off. They will have to carry game hard vs team that have less skilled/grouped players, but still better than their team mates. It will work well in most scenarios.
Now they need to give us new OPR maps and modes, add some meaningful rewards, and we are really cooking. I've been saying this for years, it would drastically improve the end game content experience.
We discovered a bug that duplicates doubloon chest loot for two players between one chest. We have reported this during the last pc beta but no response. If the PvP scene takes a big hit after launch, my guild will likely abuse this and take the bans. Still cant believe target lock will be a thing

Some people talked here in the comments but here are some things I would love to see after the MMR update: - Group/Companys matchmaking, groups will still be a problem so to counter it and add more "content" to the game, match groups against groups. Plus let companies create raids of 20 to join OPRs like this they can train has group zergs and shotcalls. I did this back in the day where 5 groups would match at the same time OPR felt high skill combat, where every group needed to do his part. - Revive leaderboards giving gold or transmog tokens. Add objectives inside OPR/ 3v3 arena with the gold/transmog for the top 5 people (1 per week). Ideally would be a limited skin you couldn't get after, but we know its too much to ask. - Let people sell skins or transmog tokens in the market for gold. Some people don't care about transmog or I feel it would add another market inside the game letting people who have money get some gold. And people without money get some transmogs for free ( highly controversial but I think would be healthy totally moving forward). - My dream idea, Fortnite/Fall Guys you can build you own maps and they are featured officially. Imagine a tool where anyone could create their own OPR/Arena map and be featured in the queue, like have a 50% chance we get official map or 50% we get a community made map. This map is tested for 1/2 weeks by the bets PVPers and marked has verified so people known its a good and balanced map. Like this the devs only have to make the big work ar the start, I know this is really really hard to implement. But after they just need to add the props each update, making it modular. PVP scene would be more community driven. - Nerf Tanks/healers in PVP island (we all know what classes will be unkillable unless there is teaming)
There should be points inside zone that allows u to deploy resources, like in Diablo 4. If have time you deploy what u farmed so nothing happen if u get killed walking back through choke point.

13:30 i don't think it remove the skill ceiling. But it def lower the skill floor. Skill floor meaning it's easier the do good, or harder to mess up. But yhe skill ceiling is still high, you wont get head shot with target lock, so someone that can reliably hit head shot will still be doing better then ppl target locking

Sure, if people do the right thing and select healer it works great but why would you do that when you can select dps and it will only hurt the other team at worst. Unfortunately the only fix here is to remove swapping builds in game, and make it so you cannot select dps role if you have a lifestaff equipped
Yeah but they arent locking equipment and stat changes so this is completely pointless. People change their gear the second the middle rush doesn't work. All the sudden there's 8 healers.

Auto lock massively benefits highly skilled players. They will be able to abuse to the max while the average player will just use it normally. Yes, the play style will change a bit, but at the high end, nothing really changes. A highly skilled pvp player will defeat an average player 99% of the time instead of the current 99.9%.
Target lock is already in the game. They are crying over something that has been in the game for a while now. Their entire stance is ascinine. It is not a new feature, it is not a new thing come Aeternum. it is already here. MMB been there for a long while.

It’s not higher dmg for some weapons due to the crit dmg mod being super low. The devs stated that previously too but it’s a misleading statement tbh.

No matchmaker is perfect but at least a MMR system should help to make for better OPR/3v3 on average.
