AGS spent hundreds of millions of dollars developing a game with amazing potential only to allow it to be consistently mismanaged. The only way I see it coming back is a major shakeup in senior leadership over the project.

Glad that AGS fixed the GS bug but it would be cool, if they now fix the GS bug.

I did the quest line all the way. And I’ve done this event every time it’s been available since launch. I did have to “Clean the Oven” 2-4 times before it registered, but I completed the quest line the first full day it was available.

Such an easy thing for the devs to test, that they must know and aren’t prioritizing it. Could be upper management prioritizing console readiness over the current state of the game.
Steel gear can go up to 475GS with all bonuses iirc so that would very likely be stronger than lv30 unless there's an extremely good lv30 named for your class.

They aren't fixing shit. All hands are on console release. We are playing an old ass build right now. Changing anything right now is counterintuitive.

regarding the AGS viewbotting: it seems like they have this trailer as an add on youtube and it counts to the views of the trailer

Yes, they are literally just using a marketing budget on advertising. So many people don't know this, primarily randrogynous on reddit who spread this rumor due to not knowing about this common marketing tactic.

I've done this event in the prior two years and I just completed the quest AGAIN yesterday, so I'm not sure what you mean you can't complete it if you already did.

They're putting all their effort into the consoles at the expense of dropping all of their PC players but onsoles will absolutely not keep an MMO afloat. Game is dead. I've started playing GW2 again and it's not a bad game, on an entirely different level compared to New World.
I've done the quests in the past and I did them all the day the event started on one character. Many others were as well bc they were asking about needing water and stuff.

The biggest NW content for me now is reading Reddit for the funny new bugs and how AGS messed up again. But the game itself is gone for me
The last big active companies in AP that had been playing since the start have also disbanded. Game is officially dead now over here with no large warring companies left. The mismanagment of this game is unbelievable, when you have everyone leaving for tarisland you know you messed up bad.
Opens up wars for all the lower tier companies, like season 3.
The last hope anyone can have is, now that the early levels wont be reworked anymore, they only have to work on end game content
Even with 900k players it will still be the same game - bugs over bugs and no content. Revitalising the player base won't help the game in any way. Devs still will do what they did last 3 years - nothing.

I PLAY here in this channel @aoryu one war with lv 59 tanker whit faction gear and pvp track Blue shield and I receive LOW damage. Tomorrow I will play one second war with same set but lv51

AGS Pay him. I have been looking for a new game for about a month now. Pax Dei- hell no, lasted 40 mins. Today was Elden Ring, far too complicated refund. IS there any other MMO that comes close to New World.
Guild Wars 2 has an action combat camera identical to New World but has tab targeting as well. It's so well made compared to even WoW, where they fixed all of WoW's mistakes and just made it a ton better. And it still looks good despite being 12 years old, and now has 12 years worth of content so the money is worth it. It's even on sale right now.
Nice review and QA check from players. IMHO, AGS was able to check it by spending 10-20 minutes... Looks like, QA does not know what Developers do... Very easy example, last 3 patches are 40+ Gb!!!! why? they are broken by building Console version. No one care about it... changed files in each patch are less 1Mb... we got FULL repackage for complete game! Lastest patch (5.0.3) with event contains event start date for 2023... they "just" forgot to update YEAR! How it possible? no one test game -> no QA! IMHO, old developers are gone... new developers are not yet there... should we expect change in October/Novermber 2024? I hope so...

I quit 6 months ago. I promise like 3months after the update this game is dead form real , the pvp island is going to go over as well as influence races did. , they could have just made a new opr map. Is what all say at new worlds funera. They could have listen one time , they did with solo trails after begging for years , too late , they are idiots rip
