    First ride on new board. Went from a 40L 6’2 twinny to a 30L 5’4 quad. Thanks for watching \m/

      Rad change, how was the paddling for you back then? Since this volume is on the lower end for you.
      I am the same weight btw.

      @@jose2x784 I thought I might of stitched myself up and cut too much meat off her but surprisingly it paddled sick. I seen a lot of people saying they wished they got less volume so I rolled the dice and hoped for the best. Shes a sick little board

    You had that little board flying! Good to hear you young blokes breathing loudly when paddling hard, thought it was just me. I should have called my channel Huff and Puff..

    Thank you so much for doing this video! I was debating on getting one, I usually ride very high volume grovelers about, 45L. I was thinking of getting the 5'10 seaside but after seeing this video it motivated me to get the 5'8. Can't wait to try it!

      Good stuff man! Let me know what you recon after you get a ride on it. Yeh you can definitely scale it down and you definitely won’t have a drama paddling as a lot of the foam is up the front of the board, it’s a fast board and turns sick!I absolutely froth mine \m/ yeeeeeeww

    Would you say this is a good board to transition from a longboard

    • @youngyarnzy777
      @youngyarnzy777  3 года назад +1

      I’d probably look at a mid length... there’s some pretty sweet mids with decent volume.. The “CI Mid” seems to have a bit of hype and also the seaside & beyond.. there’s some good reviews on RUclips if you wanna have a look 🤙🏽

      Checkout the christenson huntsman. Goes great in waist to overhead if you're looking at midlengths

      I’d get a sea side and just force your self to get used to it surfing it a lot. I’d also get the biggest model for a Easier transition

      How are ya mate? 6ft 77 kgs. I came off a 6’2 40L twin and was a little worried I got a board too small as I haven’t been surfing that long but I made the right call. Super manoeuvrable, great paddler and fast. These waves were super weak and small but managed to paddle on pretty easy I hope that helps \m/

      Thanks mate! Yea I was thinking of getting a 5’2 but was worried it’d be too small. I usually ride a 5’8. Appreciate the info!

      Levi Jon Briones no dramas at all man, I was a little worried also but as soon as I started paddling I knew she was going to be a good thing. Now we just need some swell. But definitely psyched on the board for sure \m/
