My favorite guitar RUclipsr. Learned a lot from this man!
Oh glad to hear that! Thanks!
just got the amp room and cab collection after watching your video
instant 80s megadeth sound!
Cool! 🤟
Wow, that really roars! Awesome demo! Love your playing as always.
Yeah! Thanks man!
Juicy tone.. Crazy..
Thanks for the video, Euge
🤙
Thanks man! My pleasure 😎👌.
Awesome! Great demo!
Thanks! 🙏🤟
Sounds sick I love it! Great playing as always my friend. 👍🤘
Thanks man!
Glad I took your advice, just got amp room. Love it.
Cool man! 👌
Your just the professional input they need sooo close it's spooky! Speaking of spooky massive demo riff!!!🇫🇮🤘
Thanks! 🙏💪😎
Wow that sounds amazing!...thats the best digital guitar sounds I've heard....damn.
Thanks man!
Awesome playing, Euge! Cool intro song! The software/digital stuff is getting really good. Close to the real thing.
Thanks! It is indeed.
Awesome heavy riffs! Made me pick up the guitar to start playing this morning! 🎸👍
Cool! Thanks! 💪🎼🎸
You made this song! Wow, I loved Softube trailer of this amp simulator.
🤟😎
Thank you Euge for this review. This is what I'm searching for a long time....especially a Marshall JCM 800 amp sim. I give this plugin a try 🤘
Glad to hear! Thanks!
Sounds good !!
Thanks! It’s a fantastic plugin indeed 👌.
Dude, this might be the best amps I've heard!
🤟
I think I found my new favorite RUclips channel. After watching a few of your videos on Softube Amp Room, I purchased Amp Room: Marshall Edition during the Summer Sale which is going on currently. Man am I glad I did. I followed your settings / setup in this video and it sounds really great with my Gibson 70's Flying V (2022 in Classic White). I have tried a number of different amp sims and this one just feels and sounds great to me so far. I really appreciate that you are sharing your knowledge with the world via these videos. Thank you Euge and keep up the great work. Also, I love your playing and music...Rock On!
Thanks man! Glad to hear!
Wicked tones, mate! I will probably check out the new Amp Room as well.
Thanks! Strong recommendation 👌.
You're playing and sound is so inspiring, I can't wait to pick up my guitar! The Softube sounds amazing with you at the wheel. Will definitely have to check it out. Thanks 😎🙏
Thanks! Really glad to hear this! 👌🙏
Sounds damn good Euge! I never would have thought when I picked up a guitar 30 years ago that this kind of technology would have EVER been available! I can't believe how close it sounds to the real deal. That song you wrote was wicked heavy, loved it! 🤘🤘
Thanks man! Me neither! 😎
I bought amp room this morning and haven't gotten a chance to play with it yet. This video got me incredibly hyped to dive in. Cheers!
Cool man!
love your amp room demos because i always pick up something new- didn't really use the utilities in the old version, but i am now. it's the best platform out there for sure. hope you make more of these!
can we forward our requests for new features to you, then? because i have so many ideas and i don't know where to send them, lol
Cool! Glad to hear!
Yeah please send to my email: evalovirta@gmail.com 👌
Sound Great bro!!!!
Thanks!
You are wellcome E!!!!
I must say, I'm using the 2203 sim by Softube, and it's very good, its different, the feeling is different, I must say its more dynamic, captures all the different pic attacks you do, and the sustain is far different from other sims, also reacts very different to pedals, looks to have far more headroom, I tested Guitar Rig, Bias, AmpliTube, all those have a beautiful sound and quality, but this feeling I tried to describe I only found with the 2203 from Softube, it's my main sim atm. And pared with my IR collection of Greenbacks in Marshall 1960 cab its instant pure rock and roll sound.
I agree and their plugins are awesome in general 👌.
Hey man love your channel. Can you get your hands on some Hughes & kettner the grand meister 40 or maybe the big bad tri amp mark 3!!!!
Thanks man! Glad to hear! I need to check out from MusiX 👌.
Wow, it sounds really good. Liked the old version of the amp room but this is a step up. Sounds clearer and a bit fatter amp-/cab-ish.
It does indeed! Exactly 👌.
Very nice. I’ve got the old UA softube amp room versions. Not sure if I can upgrade them to these new versions via UAD but that would be excellent.
Thanks! That’s a good question indeed 🧐.
Hey Euge! Have you ever considered trying a JCM 900 Dual Reverb on the channel? It would be very cool to see how it holds up to your JCM 800 amps. Love your videos! :D
Hey! Yeah and as soon as I get my hands on one I’ll do a video about it 👌. Thanks!
Had to subscribe, especially all the marshall amp footage ;)
I like how good the software side of things has come over the years, only thing I can tell from me end is that a lot of the darker, wetter, tones you get from real tubes isn't there as much, it seems a lot brighter. But that's something you can fix I'm sure with some editing or another plugin. But that tone is still very very nice! Like no negative comments here at all. It sounds great and not having to tote around the beast would be nice... with my bad leg it's pretty hard to move around, even with casters -.-
Glad to hear! Thanks!
Yeah it’s amazing how far the technology has come since the early days of modeling 😎👌.
@@EugeValovirta230V exactly! I remember using a pod farm software with a line 6 UX2, and just from then, to the invention of the helix... 🤤🤤💚🤘🤘🤘💯🎸🎶
I had the first POD, the ”soap box” or ”kidney” and used that a long time at home 😎.
@@EugeValovirta230V right on! I missed that one myself, I went from a boss gt6, to ux2 and now all I've got left is the gt6😆
Old faithful though, she's been around since I was 13 😅 I'm 32 now.
Because of the amps I used around the mixture of those two pedals, one was a marshall half stack, dsp2000 I think.. it only had preamp tubes. Then the ux2 took over after I sold that amp (huge regret there) and then to save a novella of text, the jcm800 2203 really doesn't need much for what I play (which is mostly blues
ock)...
Sorry for all the text... Brought up old memories of gear past and present 😅
👌🤟😊
Pepita - dancing king \m/
😎🕺🤟
I've been using Amp Room for a while now, also bought the JMP 2203 Plugin. I love the whole platform, it sounds fantastic. Only thing i really miss is the low input on the stock JCM 800. I'd really like to use that as a clean channel. Who knows, maybe they'll implement it someday.
Likewise 😎👌. That’d be cool indeed 🎼.
@@EugeValovirta230V Well, good to know that they're listening to your suggestions for improvement. Love your channel, keep it up!
👌 Thanks man!
that was amazing! this plugin is underrated compared to the stl/neuraldsp etc. In your opinion which VST Plugin for guitar amp do you think is the best for you? :)
Thanks! Softube’s Marshall plugins / The Amp Room are really good so those are my favourites ’cos they’re the most realistic I’ve tried. I also like STL Tones’ Howard Benson / Mike Plotnikoff / CLA one a lot.
@@EugeValovirta230V yeah man, the first time i tried softube i was like not buying into it but after saw your demo on the jcm800 comparison i was completely blown away by how close it is. Please do make more demo/tutorials your videos are very helpful! Especially exploring the amp room plugin :)
Revv 4 plus Neunaber Iconoclast to monitors gets it too.
💪
Hey Euge, Have you tried the ML Sound Lab ML800? I am curious about your opinion of that plugin
Hey, can’t remember but if I have I wasn’t probably that impressed since I don’t remember. Or then I haven’t tried it at all 😁.
@@EugeValovirta230V Cheers, thank you
Great video sir. How are JCM 800 2205's? Do they sound as good as the 2203?
Thanks! They’re great amps but I’ve always preferred 2203s a bit more ’cos to me they’re more ”meaner” 😎.
@@EugeValovirta230V you had me at meaner! Thanks dude!
😎💪
Hi Euge. Cool vid! Just a doubt. I have already the new amp room. So, buying the 2203 plug-in would be a duplicate of the Marshall included in the new amp room? Thanks!
The JCM800 2203 is stock but the JMP2203 isn’t 😎👌.
@@EugeValovirta230V indeed 🤣🤦🏻♂️ thanks!
Just got the JMP2203 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥
💪👌😎
Euge please ask them for external IRs in the plugin. It sounds awesome with the Borgen IRs.
I think it sounded really good with the Marshall cab IRs but you can easily use 3rd party IRs with the Amp Room by just not including the cab and use an IR loader (STL Tones’ Libra is really good) in your channel insert after Amp Room 😎.
But I actually told them that it’d be cool thing to have the possibility to load 3rd party IRs in it as well so maybe in the future that option will be possible 😎.
@@EugeValovirta230V Yes, but I really like the effects and everything included. Some effects I would prefer to use them after the cab. I don't necessarily want everything before the cab simulation. The room reverb sounds awesome with Neural DSP plugins. If they allow to load third party plugins and third party IR's it would be my wet dream all included guitar plugin. It's awesome anyways, bought already and because of you I demoed and bought the tape echo as well. Awesome times to play guitar in the box. Thanks for the great content, big fan of your playing, demo and overall character. You are Catalan?
@@LuchoFerro im with you on the no IR loader part
Oh yeah that’s true about the effects indeed 👌.
Thanks man!
I’m Finnish 😎.
And you were right again, yes the Marshall cabs are awesome. Ok, time to hide the wallet again bad boy 😂
Hej hej man, tune is standart D?
Can’t remember what I used but could be 😎.
ok, it's expensive AF but it sounds awesome. i was just wondering if amp room comes with a standalone version or it's just a way to pack all the plugins together
It’s awesome and comes as a standalone with lots of great amps, cabs, effects etc. and they you can expand it for example with the Marshall cab pack and separate amps, post processors etc. 👌
how much?
The link to Softube’s site in the description 😉👌.
@@jorgemery5568 90 right now (it's on sale) but of course that doesn't include many amps
@@iochisono97 does include the 1959 Super Lad or the JCM800? any of those will be useful to me
i've been using the softube jmp2203 and the soundofgodEQ2 IR for a while and it sounds great. The amps in amp room are good (not the jcm800, the jmp2203 is better - not included tho) and so were the cabs, but the overdrive pedals were bad (too gainy, too much low end cut - free tubescreamers vsts work much better), noise gate behaviour is not that great (might be hysteresis or just the overall alghoritm), no IR loader (forces you to use an external IR plugin and then the after cab effects or eq must be done in another amp room instance). So i ended up just using the standalone jmp2203 and NadIR. Maybe they changed things in this update and might reconsider the ampRoom ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Personal preferences 😎👌.
Could you please post a link to the presets you created for this video? Thanks!
I need to figure out how to do that 😊.
@@EugeValovirta230V No worries! I love your RUclips channel. Awesome demos and musicianship.
🙏😎
@Euge Valovirta Hi my friend!!! greetings from Chile!!! nice video like always!!!, i will share in my twitter channel!!, i try to do my best supporting your channel, but my new work take me a lot of my time!!!, see you!!!
Cool man! Thanks!
Euge, 20 years ago did you ever think this technology would exist?
Nope 😎.
@@EugeValovirta230V nice surprise. I find it funny that these songs you throw together for these videos are so good. Love the thrasher shirt. I use to skate back in the day.
Thanks!
I skated a lot too when I was younger and actually still do every now & then 😎.
