I can never seem to get any ADTR songs to register properly, I often get missed notes when I hit them correctly and it seems to happen with almost any lower tuning such as Drop D, any suggestions?
Your strings might be too floppy to hit a consistent note in lower tunings try a heavier gauge of strings. I'd also recommend a digitech drop pedal if you a haven't got one already it allows you to change tunings at a click of a switch, it will save you time and means that your strings won't be floppy in low tunings.
+MEDiumInc It looks like it has 2 humbuckers, I'd think you could just change the pickup and it would be fine for this, although other guitar are better suited, and thicker strings are usually better if you're going to play downtuned.

Really you can make any guitar sound like any guitar. but stock, the humbuckers probably are not hot enough.
