Hey Jamie :) Thanks so much for this lovely comment - I'm so glad that you enjoyed it and I must be honest, reading about the sleety rain made me excited for Winter to come to the Cape. There's a lot of negativity in the world, and especially in South Africa with regards to loadshedding, crime and so forth, so sometimes it's just nice to be reminded that we do live in a special world if we dare spend some time to go off the beaten track!

Just had your video pop up on my You Tube recommendations here in Northern Ireland as I watch other videos from SA and was delighted to watch the drive from CT to Rawsonville , my friends live in Worcester and I travel that route every 2 years since 1990, it brings a smile to my face!!!! One of my friends got married in Rawsonville so I must visit the Trout farm on my next visit. Thanks again.
Oh no ways - it's a beautiful part of the world. Most definitely, you have to pop in there for a night or two next time you head up to Worcester, you won't be sorry!
Of you would carry on with the gravel road after you pass the gate with the code, you get to Stetteinskloof dam which supplies Worcester with water.
The metal pipe along the toad was put up there by my dad.

Howzit, gee wiz, Loving your content Nicole, makes me feel homesick every time! Ex-Capetonian living in Cusco, Peru. We were over in CT for 2 months last August & our 9-year-old daughter tried City Rock & took to it like a fish to water, managed to go about 5 times for 3-4 hours a time during the trip, great place. Next time you are there please tell Vee that Abigail from Peru says hi :) Abbie climbed while we enjoyed cappuchinos & I really liked their chick-pea curry & brownies. I know, I know, we should have done it too...& actually did manage to get 3 steps off the ground ;) We'll be back!

Sho, its crazy how quickly kids take to adventurous sports, I think their lack of fear is probably the reason most of the time, but we so often see little nippers just cruising up and down the walls while we are flailing about. We're pretty new so we don't know the staff all that well yet, but if I meet Vee, I'll definitely pass on that message! We'll be visiting S.A. in 2022. Flying in to Joburg and driving throughout. Hopefully one day to buy a home there. Any info would be appreciated.
@@travisjae1775 Sounds like an exciting trip that you have lined up! Sure, I'm not entirely sure what type of info that you are looking for, but some recommendations of places to go/see would be Cape Town (and Western Cape), do Swartberg Pass and then link up with the Garden Route, definitely do a safari if you haven't done one (I'd recommend Kruger for self-driving) followed by driving The Panarama Route, do some hikes in the Drakensberg if you're wanting to do some activities, visit the Cederberg. Sho, the list is endless.

Hello, as a foreigner, where can I buy land without yearly property taxes, building permit, and zoning? What are some places? Who should I contact?
Is there cellular or WiFi coverage there? Looks like to place to visit to get away from everything.
Lamin Touray There’s little to no signal, but the pod does have Wi-Fi :) So we managed to get a little work done in the morning, and then the rest of the trip we were without phone which was amazing!

Tilly Wilks He works in the fruit export trade, with their company mainly focusing on citrus and grapes :) So his markets that he manages are Singapore, Malaysia and China (hence my trips there last year to visit him) :)

Haha, they've definitely made it harder by clumping it all together in one word on the sign board!
Haha - for some reason Afrikaans language rules dictate that one concept is spelt as one uninterrupted word. The breakdown for you - "du Toit" is a surname of French origin, "kloof" means a gap between mountains and "pas" is obviously a pass. So the pass is named after a gap between two mountains which was named after some French dude. In South Africa we have a place named "Tweebuffelsmeteenskootmorsdoodgeskietfontein" which translates to "Spring where two buffaloes were shot very dead with one shot"!
