I’m autistic too, but I can’t lie there are some super weird, creepy autistic people out there. I’ve noticed it more with autistic men. I think it’s because most autistic men are diagnosed young and are then coddled by everyone around them. “He’s autistic he can’t help it.” No, he can. Autistic men are just excused for any wrong doing because boys will be boys. Women are almost never diagnosed early and some are never diagnosed at all, therefore we have to deal with being autistic and a woman. No one excuses our autistic behaviours because women are supposed to “shutup, be polite and submissive.” Same thing with any neurological disorder honestly, women are at fault for everything we do even when we can’t control it.

As a lesbian, I can tell you that I have been kicked out of a number of lesbian groups on social media whenever I have voiced my legitimate concerns over the infiltration of men in these spaces. Jubilee had a lesbian debate a while back, one person was biologically female but identified as non binary. She defined lesbian as a "non-man dating a non-man", which was so dumb to me. First of all, removing the word "woman" from the definition of lesbian is ridiculous. Second, under that definition, two biological males who identity as non binary being together could be called a lesbian relationship. Sometimes being too inclusive can be bad, when it basically makes words meaningless and pushes people out of spaces that were literally designed for them to begin with

There is enough letters for you to have your own and not using my sexuality as a weapon against me. Even the term sapphic isn’t about two women together anymore, we can’t even have ONE term for ourselves. We are mandated to “include everyone” and make it about everyone but women, AGAIN.

No joke. A guy who was clearly extremely attracted to me, genuinely like personality and appearance, found out i was lesbian. All of a sudden, days later, he 'comes out as trans' and starts asking me tips on how to be a woman. And that is how you go from innocent rejected crush to creep. You cannot tell me those two events were not related.
As a lesbian, I think that these people have no right to claim that they are lesbian when they obviously aren’t. It breaks my heart if I’m being honest. I’ve been a lesbian for almost two years, and it took me so long to build the confidence to tell anyone. And these people almost make me feel like I’m being mocked. They use sexuality as a prize, as a thing to show off so proudly while there are people trying to be accepted. It’s just sad.

As someone who is actually disabled, I ask myself that same question. I would give anything to be “normal” and all this does is make actual disabled people look bad.
I'm autistic, have ADHD and a female in my 30's... I'm accused of 'jumping on the bandwagon'. I don't use my 'conditions' as part of my identity. If a problem arises with how I communicate (etc) then I will try my best to explain myself. I don't wear a sunflower lanyard (it's a British thing about signifying autism, something like that)... I don't wave flags, I don't wear a badge, etc. I only mention my ADHD or autism if other people have a problem with me. That's the only time I make others aware of my 'conditions'. I refuse to make an entire identity and political stance from my 'conditions'. Being autistic and having ADHD explains a lot about my past experiences and behaviours. Getting a diagnosis helps me to understand my own behaviour and adjust/adapt. I didn't get a diagnosis to shove it in other people's faces and it does annoy me greatly when others seem to use ADHD and autism as an 'excuse' to act like a crap human being and to not be held accountable for their own behaviour. It drags people who are having a really bad time with their ADHD into the gutter by labelling us all as stupid, self-obsessed, confrontational and demanding. We're not all trying to show off our 'conditions' like they're 'achievements'. The vast majority are just trying to have normal lives and make sense of ourselves. I can't stand these people who are trying to weaponise ADHD and autism.

2 years ago I went on a “date” (just a board game cafe) with a trans girl that claims to be a lesbian. I went into it thinking it was more of an “as friends” hangout, because I never once flirted or led her to believe I was into her in that way. I met her through the tattoo place I went to (she worked there) and we had a few conversations and had a lot to chat about. At the end of the “date” she wanted to know if it was a romantic date or not and when I said no she had a full blown toddler level melt down, made me explain why I wasn’t attracted to her and couldn’t date her, and then proceeded to beg me to walk her to her car in the middle of the night because she was “scared”, and then didn’t want to drive me back to my car 3 blocks away because her car was too messy to have me in it.. So I walked back to my car alone in the dark in a busy city in the sketchier side of town. The next morning she posted a multi-slide instagram story revealing the way our “date” went down, and slandered me all over social media for “leading her on” and having a bad taste in women prior to her. Days went by and she would still post stories directing her rage towards me; this lasted for weeks. I also later found out when I went to the bathroom during the date that she took my debit card info from my bag and paid for me to subscribe to her onlyfans account two weeks later when she decided to start one. Long story short, I guess you can’t take the man level, post-rejection rage / meltdowns out of a man no matter how hard you try

Every man I’ve ever spoken to about catcalling said that they would love if women did that to them and how much it would boost their confidence. I am a cis female, trying/who tried to date women, and have been pressured, berated, coerced/assaulted at the hands of more than one self-described "Trans-woman", one of which who was twice my size, and clearly had a hard-on while trying to assault me. I didn't know what to think about it, for fifteen years, so I pushed it down and went on my way. Now I see more clearly what may have happened. I'm 73. I'm a lesbian. I remember being in a gay bar trying to celebrate my 19th birthday which was June 27, 1969. There was a bar raid. (Although it was the night of Stonewall, I was in a bar 30 miles away from the Village.) One of the cops propositioned me telling me that he was off at midnight and he could show me what a real man was. I also remember being propositioned by gay men who thought that it would be good for me to experience a man. I guess that nonsense from some men has been going on since the year of the flood.

Absolutely. I have had to filter out half my options because they're trans. The dating app I use even has separate categories for "Woman" and "Trans Woman" and they still choose "Woman".

I've been in the same shoes. I am a woman who was already vulnerable as I was in extremely new in recovery, and I just wanted to be loved. Validated. I fell in love with souls , or so I thought I did. I was completely brainwashed. I was in and out of a relationship with a full blooded lesbian. I was also vegan. I’m autistic too, but I can’t lie there are some super weird, creepy autistic people out there. I’ve noticed it more with autistic men. I think it’s because most autistic men are diagnosed young and are then coddled by everyone around them. “He’s autistic he can’t help it.” No, he can. Autistic men are just excused for any wrong doing because boys will be boys. Women are almost never diagnosed early and some are never diagnosed at all, therefore we have to deal with being autistic and a woman. No one excuses our autistic behaviours because women are supposed to “shutup, be polite and submissive.” Same thing with any neurological disorder honestly, women are at fault for everything we do even when we can’t control it.

Jubilee had a lesbian debate a while back, one person was biologically female but identified as non binary. She defined lesbian as a "non-man dating a non-man", which was so dumb to me. First of all, removing the word "woman" from the definition of lesbian is ridiculous. Second, under that definition, two biological males who identity as non binary being together could be called a lesbian relationship. Do I have any issue with a trans woman calling herself a lesbian ? Absolutely not, trans women are women (when they’re genuine obviously).
With non-binary people it’s a little more complicated but I have no issues with it as long as they present / lean more towards the fem end of the spectrum. I literally met a person, who said they were a non-binary lesbian, but being AMAB and using almost exclusively “he/him” and presenting, acting and referring to themselves as a man. And said it was transphobic that I rejected him. Like- fam. Nuh huh. I can respect you, but you’re not a lesbian. There is enough letters for you to have your own and not using my sexuality as a weapon against me.

I don't use my 'conditions' as part of my identity. If a problem arises with how I communicate (etc) then I will try my best to explain myself.
I don't wear a sunflower lanyard (it's a British thing about signifying autism, something like that)... I don't wave flags, I don't wear a badge, etc. I only mention my ADHD or autism if other people have a problem with me. That's the only time I make others aware of my 'conditions'.
I refuse to make an entire identity and political stance from my 'conditions'. Being autistic and having ADHD explains a lot about my past experiences and behaviours. Getting a diagnosis helps me to understand my own behaviour and adjust/adapt. I didn't get a diagnosis to shove it in other people's faces and it does annoy me greatly when others seem to use ADHD and autism as an 'excuse' to act like a crap human being and to not be held accountable for their own behaviour.
It drags people who are having a really bad time with their ADHD into the gutter by labelling us all as stupid, self-obsessed, confrontational and demanding. We're not all trying to show off our 'conditions' like they're 'achievements'. The vast majority are just trying to have normal lives and make sense of ourselves. I can't stand these people who are trying to weaponise ADHD and autism.
They want to be special, being straight and white is way too boring. So they call themselves disabled so they can act as a victim or use it as a defense tool in arguments.
As a gay man, I see so many “trans men” that make no effort to actually transition besides a buzz cut and name change. I’ve been called transphobic for not wanting to engage s*xually with them, this is literally not how attraction works. Just because you identify as a man, doesn’t mean I’m automatically attracted to you.
I’m attracted to passable trans men, and that’s not offensive to say. I’m so offended for the lesbians, it’s so much worse for yall.

2 years ago I went on a “date” (just a board game cafe) with a trans girl that claims to be a lesbian. I went into it thinking it was more of an “as friends” hangout, because I never once flirted or led her to believe I was into her in that way. I met her through the tattoo place I went to (she worked there) and we had a few conversations and had a lot to chat about. At the end of the “date” she wanted to know if it was a romantic date or not and when I said no she had a full blown toddler level melt down, made me explain why I wasn’t attracted to her and couldn’t date her, and then proceeded to beg me to walk her to her car in the middle of the night because she was “scared”, and then didn’t want to drive me back to my car 3 blocks away because her car was too messy to have me in it.. So I walked back to my car alone in the dark in a busy city in the sketchier side of town. The next morning she posted a multi-slide instagram story revealing the way our “date” went down, and slandered me all over social media for “leading her on” and having a bad taste in women prior to her. Days went by and she would still post stories directing her rage towards me; this lasted for weeks. I also later found out when I went to the bathroom during the date that she took my debit card info from my bag and paid for me to subscribe to her onlyfans account two weeks later when she decided to start one. Long story short, I guess you can’t take the man level, post-rejection rage / meltdowns out of a man no matter how hard you try

That's why I only match people I'm actually into and ignore the rest. The worst I've gotten is a few trans women who are desperate for love and don't get what aromantic means. I've been in the same shoes. I am a woman who was already vulnerable as I was in extremely new in recovery, and I just wanted to be loved. Validated. I fell in love with souls , or so I thought I did. I was completely brainwashed. I was in and out of a relationship with a full blooded lesbian. I was also vegan. I am still a free-spirited hippie, I'm not into labels but 7 years later and completely recovered I realized I was entirely taken advantage of and now I am on the right.
Weirdly enough when I was vegan I was lesbian. When I went back to eating meat I wasn't attracted to women anymore.
