I’m not hating but he’s not going FULL range of motion. His chin doesn’t go above the bar which is probably why he can’t feel as good of a squeeze at the top than when he does with pull downs and he doesn’t extend his arms at the bottom which is where you get the stretch, which is the most important part of lifting movements. But also sam never was king of rom anyway, not every movement has to be 100% efficient to work you can clearly still get huge without doing things the most efficient way possible.
@@4purs exactly, in some movements, long length partials are all that can be required to achieve growth, in this case(video) it can be disputed whether Sam has his chin above the bar but I would say it doesn’t matter cause it’s such a tiny difference from how far his chin would be going over the bar and what I mean overall is that his chin COULD be a little tiny bit below but overall he’ll still achieve growth cause he’s getting that full stretch on the bottom and going high enough to feel the tension just enough, going over the bar is people’s preference but ideally you would want to just to feel that noice tension at the top

Started this year again after a shoulder injury that took me out for a long while now I am back to 10 to 15 easy 20 with struggle 4 times 30 push ups and I hope I can get back to 3 times 50 push ups each day and 3 times 20 pull ups
More than that per set. And I do 20-25 sets in my leg day superset routine. Squats, pull ups. Dead’s, pull ups. Ham Curls, pull ups. Leg extensions, pull ups. Etc.

As a skinny guy I am feeling so blessed to be able to start with pull ups. The hard part is putting on the muscle and then I assume pull ups get way harder
