Our favorite thing to do in Mexico outside of relaxing pool or beachside is visiting the historical locations in Mexico. What historical locations can you recommend?
We filmed this in March right when the virus was first hitting the US and Mexico. I have seen some posts online as late as Oct. 1 that say it is closed to climbing due to the virus. I can't confirm that though.
I went there on my honeymoon in 2009. I wish I would have had a good camera to take with me. I’ve got a few pictures, but they don’t demonstrate the splendor of this place. Thanks for such a great video.
I absolutely love this place. It’s a lot easier to climb that it looks in the video. I wish they would excavated more and find out what’s going on. A lot of the areas around it.
Coba..a great Mayan site, went there in the late 70's and again in the mid 90's. The difference was astonishing, of course Cancun in the 70's was just a fishing village.

Are you able to climb the ruins currently? They just reopened it

I have added this place to our list of destinations! Thanks for sharing the insights into this amazing place
Just be aware that I have heard they no longer allow you to climb it. Not sure if that was short term due to Covid or not.
Amazing that the pyramids have been preserved in such good condition😌
Thanks for the video
Glad you enjoyed it
Rebuilt
A formidable witz!

I totally agree!

I can just imagine!
Is this close to Bahia grand coba resort?
Pretty close, about 1 hr inland.
Thanks for this great video :) How long is the way to drive with the pedicap (metres)?
Not sure how many meters, but it took about 15
Minutes by bike.
It's awesome
Couldn’t agree more. Glad we took the bike route vs. walking!
very nice
animals climbing up on sacred places.
Just visited Coba last month. Unfortunately, due to COVID, visitors are no longer permitted to climb the pyramid.
That is too bad. That is the big reason to go there.
Its open for climbing. @@Photasma
Can you go up with your butt too if you find that easy?? Would you like to see that?
Really really long walk = 20 minutes (for those that want a number on it).
Very true. Opted for the bike!
Kinda wish I'd done the same to explore some of the side tracks.
You can no longer climb the pyramid. We just visited 2 days ago, Jan, 29, 2023 - it’s now blocked off and there is no rope to climb it…
That is no fun! Sorry to hear about that.
👍
Black aboriginal mayan ruins..my ancestors
