I like both but if there was a choice it will be bourbon
Everything you said makes sense. I feel bourbon is straight forward where as scotch seems that the blending is very important. Am I wrong? Cheers
Thanks! Blending is very important for both bourbon too though! All depends on what the Master Blender wants to achieve🥃
I drink and enjoy both, but prefer Scotch.
Yes, I know the difference. I was not aware of the 3 year minimum on scotch. Bourbon does not have a minimum age, but to be labeled a “straight bourbon,” it must be aged 2 years or more and if less than 4 years, must contain an age statement somewhere on the bottle.
If it just says “bourbon” on the label, it can be aged for less than 2 years, but it must be put into new charred oak at some point.
I like them both, but I own much more bourbon than scotch.
Thanks for clarifying this point!
I like them both too, but I own a lot more Scotch than I do bourbon. The collection is growing though! Cheers🥃
I prefer Scotch, but also from time to time Bourbon. Cheers from Germany
I'm the same really!
Well...I love my BT and BL anyway depends on situation and with whom I drink..
You are a beautiful Scottish Celtic! I love Scottish 🏴 single malt whisky aged 12 years and older from the Speyside region (Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, Glenfarclas, Glenmorangie, Mortlach and many others)! But sometimes I can drink Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Lagavulin 16, Talisker 10, Caol Ila, Ardbeg)! I will write to you now in your Scots language. 👇🏻
Tha mi airson sgrìobhadh thugad sa Ghàidhlig dhùthchasach Albannach (Gàidhlig) (Gaelic). Tha e tàmailteach gu bheil Gàidhlig a’ bàsachadh a-muigh nad Alba bhrèagha.
Bourbon is way better in my opinion. I have only enjoyed 2 types of Scotch that i liked
I love them both
You and me both 🥃
@@BottleRaiders I was on a smokey scotch kick for about a year but now I have been enjoying many bourbons for about the last six months. 🥃
Nice!!
Bourbon is sickeningly sweet to me. Scotch!
My order bourbon, armagnac, cognac, scotch, Japanese whiskey, Irish whiskey.
Interesting! Thanks for sharing 🥃

Nice! 🥃🏴
Such a narrow view of bourbon. Bourbon comes in many variations, with a very diverse flavor profile.
I had 60 seconds!
Bourbon.
Nice!
So you mean bourbon is easy on tongue?
Scotch any given day ❤
Irish whiskey sometimes 🎉
Bourbon 😮 never liked it
I’m mostly a Scotch girl too!
Thanks for sharing 🥃
The difference is that scotch is disgusting and bourbon is nectar of the gods
😂😂😂 each to their own I guess
Bourbon is KING!!!
You must be joking. Bourbon isn't even in the same league. Next you're gonna say Jack Daniels is whiskey
@TheJoshtheboss No, I do not drink, Jack Daniel. You can take your Scot drinking use barrel self back to Scotland 😆 !
