How do I know I won't get banned with this app?
With Mantis (and any other keymappers which use Universal Touch Mapping), it's nearly impossible for an App/Game to detect whether Touch Mapping is being executed.
Why?
- Because although Overlays can be detected, the Overlay running apps' identity cannot be. Hence it'd be harsh for a game to ban their user for just this as there are plenty of legit Overlay use cases.
- Because the Touch Mapping is just Emulated Touch Injection and no different to actual touches. Again making it undetectable.
- USB Debugging detecting is easy but can be enabled on the device for multiple use cases. Again not at all conclusive enough.
And Companies do not ban users unless they are 99% sure about the unwanted activities. Banning even a single account wrongly leads to massive PR issues.

On my tablet it thinks that I'm using a co troller so it doesn't let me see the buttons so I can lay them out nor can move at all because the buttons are not there. I can add the mantis app buttons but they wouldn't really be clicking anything

Hello, friend! How could I map a game in wich there are no directionals ( Frontlines Roblox, specifically ) ? I cannot map the directions for keyboard and mouse.

Just gets stuck on the wifi pairing. Wasn't getting the throbber, now I am. I added developer tile and enabled wireless debugging that way. Although still not connecting. If I put in the wrong pin / port, it will do the exact same thing.

So I got it work on apps and anything but games. As soon as i get into a game the pointer option just doesnt work with games. I can use the overlay but I cant click on any of the menue options or anything else? Does anyone know why?
This works pretty well just that the floating icon while playing genshin keeps disappearing so as the connection for my mouse and keyboard. Its getting annoying and idek how to fix it lol

I paid Mantis GamePad Pro Pass, so I'm not trying to be mean but the delay in PUBG, between a key press or click and reaction on device is...well too long, even in training mode. I am hoping for a future fix before buying the Mouse/keyboard version.

when i have my usb mouse n keyboard plugged into my usb-c to hdmi adapter and have my phone screen mirrored to my tv the mouse goes out.. i got the mantis pro all connected, just the mouse buggs out.. i think the app and usb debugging is voided 1 thing out.. im not sure.. ive tried 2 different mouse n keyboards.. what to do??

This app hasn't been updated since July 18 2022. I even sent a bug report a month ago, but nothing happened after that it's still the same

The funny thing is nowhere does it let me insert a right or left click on the mouse, or when i put the mouse target input i cannot look around.. All i got to work so far is wsad... It lets me input keys, but when i place them and then click middle bitton to test out none of the keys i placed work except wsad.. Im stumped..

Its a shame we have to do this, i wish developers were not so lazy, any unity game has the option to enable physical inputs before you generate the apk file, they just usually dont enable it, why i have no idea

so it needs still a lot work for me because it's a little bit complicated if something happens in the game like pub g if something doesn't work properly you will get killed but ok I will wait for the update and mantis gamepad is awesome I never got problems never let me down into a fight with pub g hoping to get update soon keep up the good work
Yeah that's the one thing about Mantis - they always release updated and fixes for their apps - I'm sure this will get even better and easier as time goes on 👍

I'm playing fallout 1 community edition on my phone, apparently right click is a triple click but it doesn't work. I just want a transparent toolbar with mouse and keyboard that can go right over it. unfortunately My bluetooth Keyboard and mouse doesn't work. Its kinda buggy, like it could map the key (sometimes) but they just won't register so i'll probably have to wait for the update. The gamepad one works well though.
Yeah my Bluetooth mouse wasn't very happy which is why I went back to wired. Sure it'll improve in future updates though 👍

I have ShootingPlus V3 (Bluetooth adapter) and it used to work great but for some reason it started to act weird and is not playable anymore, can i use mantis to map a Bluetooth adapter ? the mouse only moves to the right, the keyboard work fine but the mouse doesn't, i tested the mouse and it works just fine, any advice ?
I had issues with my wireless mouse as well so I had to use wired instead. It may support some bluetooth mice but it didn't work with mine either

Make sure you don't have any other apps which use the floating widget permission...I had a screen clicker app installed which stopped Mantis from working/recognising input so I uninstalled it and Mantis worked fine (you can just disable them too). You can check in your Accessibility options (on a Samsung that's in Settings - Accessibility - Installed apps). Just make sure everything else is turned off in there.

its not working properly, when i use mouse it disables keys and when i use keys it disables mouse also the mouse disappears after switching to touch mode but as soon as i move the mouse the pointer shows up and doesn't move the screen like the video shows.

Same ! I use a Galaxy Tab S7 FE's keyboard and a Silvertec, SYC-206W Combo Compact Wireless mouse ! I can't use them at all at the same time which is ... pretty bad.

I was able to do all steps successfully, but the mapping was not working.
I could not getting it working in DEX when I made this video and the Devs said they were working on fixing the problems. Sorry to hear it's still not working

I'd try rebooting your phone and running through the pairing again. Once you've got that initial pairing done it'll be a lot smoother from then on

Make sure you switch your phone's keyboard back to its default keyboard (you can switch between Mantis and say Gboard by pressing the keyboard icon in the bottom right of your screen (or in your phone's settings)

What phone/Android version are you using? Make sure you've allowed all the floating window permissions and also that you don't have any other apps in Accessibility Options which may be drawing on top of the screen
