Best World Cup ever hands down. I’m so thankful I had the chance to be there for tow games.
This was an incredible, historical, and jaw-dropping World Cup (for me 😁). People's nations uniting, celebrating, and cheering not just for their own teams but for other national teams, too. The first World Cup that I have been updated ever since and watched all of the matches. Never thought I'd cry when Spain and Portugal had a 3-3 draw, South Korea beat Germany, Japan's magnificent way of playing football, Belgium lost its ticket to the Finals and when Croatia lost to France. I'll never forget this especially when some people invaded the final match.😅😂 I'm gonna miss the commentators' spectacular and very energetic comments/statements. In other words, I'm gonna miss watching here daily... 😔😭

I wasn't here in 1998 (I was 1 year old at that time) and I always heard about those legends (Zidane, Barthez, Henry, Deschamps...) after a big desilusion on 2006 and 2016, finally I see my team winning a major tournament (and what a tournament!) Proud of these french guys who won a golden cup and the heart of a nation. Many future big names in that team (Mbappe, Pavard, Hernandez...). Thanks men for that second star !!! 🌟 🌟🇫🇷

till the very last game , that handball was bs , but wouldn't matter really since france would win with 3-2
I know I'm very late with this but the first goal shouldn't count either as there shouldn't have been a free kick. Griezmann was barely pushed and dived just to get a free kick. Meanwhile the goal from Pogba shouldn't have counted either as he fouled one of the Croatian players, therefore referee should have stopped the game. It would be 2-1 for Croatia in the end, or even higher since 2-1, then 3-1 and 4-1 crushed their morale.

Marlon Perisic didn't foul the player, he got his leg high enough to not do anything to the player. The second goal was just England's poor defending. In the first half they dominated Croatia but after that their performance was weak.

I remember watching this World Cup. Then in the Semi Finals (I’m English) I went on holiday to Spain a few days before the England Match.
But honestly, that World Cup in 2018 set the bar so high it’s incredible. Probably won’t ever be another one like it unless it comes to My Host country (obviously for bias reasons) Couldn’t be more gutted that the Euros has been delayed due to the virus

I think you are in the minority.this tournament was a series of heart attacks. there were many dull games in 2014. the big boys had to work hard just to get through the groups unlike most world cups and many late dramatic goals in this one . dramatic from start to finish

For me this was best world cup ever.
Fact that in final we had Croatia that was so underrated and unpredictable is enough.
Fact that Germany failed to progress in round of 16 and continued champions curse is enough.
We saw great comebacks and penalty shootouts.
Who believed that England will make it into semifinals???
Who believed that best player of tournament will be Luka Modric.
Who believed that Russia will progress into round of 16 and then eliminate Spain.
And I was pretty sad because all African teams were out before round of 16 but at least Morocco Senegal and Nigeria deserved to be there.
Iran was also so close but in the end so far from last 16.
For me just organisation was amazing.
Weather was nice troughout whole tournament.
