Revitalising Swansgate Shopping Centre: A Vision for Modern Wellingborough

The Swansgate Shopping Centre, developed in the 1970s, no longer fits modern shopping habits. Its split ownership between the council (freehold) and a private company (operational business) hinders redevelopment. As an MP, I will strive to merge these interests for a comprehensive redevelopment, transforming Swansgate into a mixed-use scheme, including residential spaces, suitable for 2024 and beyond.
