Funny to hear this after all these years. I had to sit next to Roy Massey and relay Roger's beat so that the whole thing could hang together. Mostly not a problem, but I got a bit lost at one point in the Howells. Roger was, as only he can be, quietly furious: "Not to put too fine a point on it, it was a cock-up." I received tickets for the Amadeus concert at the Cheltenham festival for my troubles. I also recall solving a fingering problem for Roy in the Howells - not that I am any good as a keyboard player; it was just that he was so preoccupied that the obvious did not strike him. Roger Nichols was producing this recording - calm and efficient.
Great acoustics

This is delightful. Pity I can’t find a cd remake of the LP. Wouldn’t need to be ‘remastered’. Perfect as is.
just download it and save to CD
I find this a little unsettling, but you can hear and understand almost every word!
great
