She s good… but everyone who makes it to broadway is very good. Its hard to judge a studiu recording vs live singing and acting and dancing a few times a week.

This straddles a very thin and beautiful line with your registers? It makes it come out so vulnerable but so hurt and angry when that hurt just bursts out. The tones switch too. It's originally very obviously composed with a Broadway sound in mind, which is great don't get me wrong, but when you add some grit and some upper-register bellyache it drives that bitterness home. There's even a moment where I hear just a small amount of rock influence, and it contrasts beautifully when you fully belt with the slight nasality of the original and come back down for a much lighter falsetto.
Amazing cover, really. I could listen to this for hours and I'm definitely subscribing now.

I just thought "oh, just another burn cover." but HOLY SMOKIES! this is by far the best cover! then, of course, I went to binge more of your videos, and I'm in love! the part that I love that you do that not a whole lot of other cover artist do is fully get into the character. you look like you're playing the character (like in satisfied or pulled). that's what really brings the emotion into the song.
