@@joe1813 it’s not hard to learn it just takes lots of practice. The hardest part is not getting frustrated and giving up. If you persevere and practice a lot it’s really cool how much you can learn about music.
I worked as a movie theater usher (75 cents per hour) when this came out. Obviously a low budget movie but FANTASTIC music that stayed with me over the years. Morricone was on his way to becoming one of the world's great composers...from such humble beginnings.
It sounds deceptively simple yet it's so emotional and powerful. One of Morricone's very best in my book. Great trumpeter too, a lot of edge and raw power. It sounds metalic and sharp as a knife, but there's enough vibrato and a few embouchure tricks that totally sell it. Forget the Green Hornet and Händel's trumpet concerto in E flat, this is the prize showpiece for trumpet.
I imagine 2 cowboys in an old western standoff, with only one bullet in their revolvers, back-to-back, taking steps at the same time, then, they turn, one of them aims, fires, and misses...the other one, slowly raises his arm, takes aim, and fires...
this may not b the main theme, but it's very beautiful and very powerful.. this is when clint eastwood started his revenge.. the movie, the music and clint eastwood were all great
@martin43427 That make sense. Ennio Morricone has done a lot of scores for Tarantino movies. I think he even used The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly song in one.
They simply don't make music like this anymore. It's an amazingly written piece of music. Tarantino has continued to use this style of music in his movies, getting it from Spaghetti Westerns.
@Joku, plz check out the good, the bad and the ugly theme including once upon a time in America. Ennio Morricone is a greatest gift in music. I wonder why he haven't received an Oscar Awards.
yes indeed the cowboy culture has a lot of mexican influence, but it was originally brough here from Spain. These westerns are more accurate than others since 1 out of three cowboys was mexican or indian, and in some cases even a few blacks were cowboys.
So much beauty and nobility in that trumpet. We see that despite having no allegiance, the man with no name does abide by a personal code.
Gerard, Michele Lacarenza would have appreciated your comment. Gringo approves.
Sounds like a piece Arturo sandoval would love to play! That's perfectly his style! ,😎✨🔥🎶🎺
"" Aim for the heart, Ramon. ""
ThunderGobble "like you said ramon shoot to kill aim for the heart ramon"
Al cuore, Ramon .. Al cuore
words ain't enough to describe this masterpiece...
This should have been playing at the end of Red Dead Redemption.
That would have been sick.
Even in Ending for Red Dead Redemption 2
Yeah bro, imagine seeing that sad scene when John dies with this emotional and powerful music
I wish I could play a trumpet like this.
grumpy venturi me too

Some people are just born to play the trumpet 🎺

Goosebumps everytime.

Chuck always check under his bed to make sure Eastwood isn't there...
You mean: Chuck Norris checks under his bed for John Wayne who checks his closet for Clint Eastwood
@@captainbossman1016 John Wayne was a bitch compared to Chuck and Clint
breaks my heart...the song that makes you feel strong and weak at the same time...
Rip to the Legend morricone, this was one of my favorites from him.

The Mars Volta used to play this before they came out on stage and it was awesome. They clearly have great taste
Every time i hear this = Goosebumps + Tears. This is the perfection itself. Morricone is God
Images of Mexico running through my mind when I hear this

It's interesting how distinct this is from For a Few Dollars More, yet similar at the same time.
i love this ..
This will be the song playing as I go out in a hail of gunfire in slow motion.

The Mars Volta is hitting the stage!!!!!
Yeah it's that good
This will be my swan song when I kick the bucket
Once upon a time in the west, with Charles Bronson, Henry Fonda, Claudia Cardinale...
Simply put, Ennio Morricone makes a movie twice as good.
@ProsperosEyes Agreed . This is why," they dont make them like they use to"! although it sounds cliche,it's true
@solemfero bravo! you just hit the last nail of the coffin right on the head lol!
That horn is speaking to a woman's heart so beautifuly

@BicyleKick "USA Forever"? An odd response to a musical theme written by an Italian, and used in an Italiian / German / Spanish movie co-production!
@Rmukia yea i guess...as u can see Tarantino is big western fan especially spaguetti westerns...the most obvious example is "Inglorious Baterds"
I wish to prepare a choregraphy on this music.
i can see omar and cedric walking onto tje stage haha
listneing to this and/or The Good The Bad The Ugly Theme and playing red dead redemption THUMBS UP!
This track should been played during the ending mission of red dead redemption, it was sad
This reminds me of exotic places for some reason...
You can see where Tarantino got all his stuff for Kill Bill volume 2.
To the 4 people who disliked this:
You have no souls...
Five people didn't apologize to his mule, get 5 coffins ready.
i can imagine myself face to face with bull....looking in his eyes...and then it charges....
Damn whoever thinks this song isn't good to HEEEEEEEEEELL!!!!!
this is such a beautiful song
That would be a trumpet :)
@becausehorse oh trust me.... Bruce always used to look under his bed.....to make sure a guy with hat and poncho wasn't there.
@Cjflores99 it is used in Kill Bill Vol.2, funnily enough

@Reptilesrule567 Clint will never die...
@RedCancer You're crazy it has plenty of Sergio references and many westerns not jsut spaghetti Westerns.
"Beautiful Mexican music."
yes indeed the cowboy culture has a lot of mexican influence, but it was originally brough here from Spain. These westerns are more accurate than others since 1 out of three cowboys was mexican or indian, and in some cases even a few blacks were cowboys.
it kinda sounds like that one kill bill song when the woman is getting the sword from the swordmaster.
Cjflores99 Actually this is the same theme used when the Bride is defeated by Budd.
0:18 Major 2nds are underrated
Clint would have made a very good Roland the main character from The Dark Tower.
