If you want the bosses from Elden Ring in minecraft then there is an amazing mod for 1.20.1 called "[FORGE] souls-like universe: epic fight" that adds a lot of the main bosses from Elden ring into the game along with tons of memorable armor and weapons.
Spice of Life: Valheim Edition is a great alternative to the hunger strike mod. It does remove the hunger bar but in addition, every food has 3 stats: duration, hp and regen. this means that you can get pretty high max health by eating foods. The foods that you've eaten also show up above your hotbar, so you can see how much duration they have left. In my modpack i also have farmers delight also downloaded so you can get morte interesting food combinations

yes, one of the best worlds that I had was the first modpack, I'm so happy by this 2.0, I'm currently in a not so happy situation, and this comes at the right moment!
They're kinda ugly looking in my opinion. They look out of place sometimes, where all the other trees are regular MC trees, the rest are titanic trees.
Just some other mod recommendations: Weapons of miracles - adds some rarer legendary type weapons only findable through exploration Valerian conquest - adds some factions of soildiers/mercenaries throughout the world, like the enemy camps you see in limgrave. Idk if it works fully with epic combat thought Born in chaos - adds in a whole load of dangerous enemies that mostly spawn in night or their structures. Adds good challenge and loot/weapons, but the mobs don't have epic fight style of moveset. Mini boss boss bar - gives boss bars to some more enemies you find, like ice and fire dragons and some other cataclysm mobs. Kinda just adds to encountering these mobs a bit more Souls-like universe: epic fight - literally adds elden ring bosses, mobs and weapons, pretty decent quality
The mod "Better Mipmaps" helps smooth higher resolution textures in the distance by allowing mipmaps above 4, just don't over do it, level 8 loads slow and any higher overloads the texture atlas. It should prevent mods and texture packs from breaking mipmapping entirely aswell.
Seeing as how the modpack is based on CurseForge, modrinth mods cannot be included by default. Worth having "honourable mentions" for mods that just are not available on CurseForge, but could be good for the pack itself
A mod that would be neat to add is Galosphere. Just like in Elden Ring, there's those crystal caves you can find in the game and this mod adds 3 new cave biomes which they are: Crystal Caves Lichen Caves Pink Salt Caves Now in the pink salt caves, there is a cool miniboss you can fight in a structure but overall this is a well made mod.

YDM's weapon master (If you didn't add it already, may not be elden ring esc, but is cool.) 10. Waystones, as a temporary replacement for the bonfires mod. 11. If compatible add William Wyther's Expanded Ecosphere. 12. [FORGE] souls-like universe: epic fight 13. EnhancedVisuals A little bit Extra 14. Horse Combat Controls 15. Callable Horses 16. Born in Chaos. Another Edit for resource packs Use Patrix 32x, it gives horses realistic animations, or atleast the animations from FreshLX's fresh animations. Just layer it over conquest. You could also try adding fresh animations if it works. Message to AsianHalfSquat: DO NOT ADD YUNGS BETTER STRONGHOLD, IT IS BUGGED AND WILL IN MOST CASES NOT SPAWN END PORTAL.

callable horses didn't work for me alongside epic fight, and investigating I found that many people had the same problem. In fact that's why I deleted epic fight and replaced it with better combat :P

Would you ever consider making videos about how to generally put together good modpacks? like instead of listing specific mods to do something, go into the practice of giving a modpack its own unique identity?
A mod with a name like? Dungeon Loot Integration. Or something, could help with items not spawning in dungeon chests. Soulslike weaponry also adds weapons and bosses with structures. Maybe Maho Tusuki (can't remember) which is basically really big spells with intense VFX and dmg! Another mod I found removed hunger completely (idk the name) Darksouls font, Xaeros Worldmap or Journey Map, Undead Unleased... Also some darksouls boss mods like The Nameless King... Saw another campfire spawn mod that included estus flasks and teleports, Spawn Animations is a nice subtle detail too! Don't forget Medieval Origins or other Origin mods!

A cool edition would be Epic Stats Remastered. It uses epic fight, epic paraglider, and iron spells and books, and has the most soulslike leveling system in my opinion. It is currently experiencing some difficulties because of the new stamina reworks in paraglider, and epic paraglider is currently not compatible with epic fight, so it wouldn't work. But once its fixed I think it would be a great addition to the modpack. Epic paraglider adds a stamina system which is very Elden Ring like.

Wow, I must have been off the modding news for so long! Last time I checked, a compatibility layer between Fabric and Forge was only an idea and people were saying it would be really difficult to do that since they're different modloaders and all. And now we have a beta of it!
I actually made a data pack that customizes the origins and origin classes mods to give you starting kit based on your class. It is similar to Elden Ring's class system and it works with the forge versions of both mods.

I just found this other amazing stats mod called "Epic Stats Remastered" that is basically the one you used for this video but with a couple more stats such as "Magic" and "Intelligence" that both work alongside "Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks"

For classes, what you could do unoriginal which removes the origins species options so you can just have the classes, it will still have you pick human but it's a decent option.

you can edit the origins config very easily to make origins give custom gear/status effects, as well as custom images, names, and descriptions. modifying origins for modpacks is a huge part of what its designed for. this could give you those classes you mentioned

Could you see if Marium's Soulslike Weaponry could work? It's a fabric mod that adds more bosses and weapons to the game and I think it would be a good addition
hi there is a mod that would majorly increase the rpg-like element and that would be "souls like universe", it makes the game hard but has one of the greatest weapons and armours ive ever seen, not only that but all the monsters and bosses use "epic fight" fighting meaning you can block, dodge and counter attack basically every mob from the mod instead of just getting hit without an animation (like most mods do) it basically makes most of the mobs that spawn during night time monsters from this pack (i suggest you deactivate boss spawns from config otherwise it'll be impossible to survive during your first few survival days) it is a super underrated mod! please do a review, took me days of experimenting in creative to understand and explore the whole mod, super underrated
Took some work but I turned this mash of mods into something playable! Had to learn how to make structure datapacks for the hundredth time just to make bonfires generate naturally. Also went ahead and used kubejs for a rudimentary class selection; with every class from Elden Ring done as accurately as I could get them. Definitely lacks in some parts though

I can't find a water physics mod that can be used at the same time as a block overhang physics mod. There's something for quilt on the same version, but the quilted fabric API isn't up to date on the version both are available.

There's this one horse mod that overhauls horseback riding (I forget what it's called), I think it would work perfectly with this mod. Additionally, if you're using oculus, there was an Iris x Geckolib mod and that may fix the shadows
Fun fact: if you want structures to appear MORE abundantly, you can download sparse structures and mess with the config file to get it to generate more structures than normal. A fair bit of warning though, I did this and had multiple structures spawning on top of each other.
Haven't watched the full video but there's a mod called Miracle Road that adds the souls leveling system into minecraft that's compatible with epic fight and iron's spellbooks. It might need some scaling tweaks tho.

Now all we need is a mod that brings up the text for felling an enemy when you beat a boss which could be customizable per entity as to what it says (similar to how in Elden Ring some say enemy, some say great enemy, demigod, etc.). Ik you could probably do it with command blocks but that's not exactly survival friendly and it wouldn't look very good either unless you spent days on each one which just isn't worth it for a boss that your going to beat once.

I just found this other amazing stats mod called "Epic Stats Remastered" that is basically the one you used for this video but with a couple more stats such as "Magic" and "Intelligence" that both work alongside "Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks"

For classes, what you could do unoriginal which removes the origins species options so you can just have the classes, it will still have you pick human but it's a decent option.

I was literally opening curseforge and about to find the original video to download the modpack when I loaded your channel and saw this video

1.20.1 controllable now works with epic fight mod which would really fit into the modpack
you can edit the origins config very easily to make origins give custom gear/status effects, as well as custom images, names, and descriptions. modifying origins for modpacks is a huge part of what its designed for. this could give you those classes you mentioned
Some sort of custom player model with a smaller head would be welcome, something about Minecraft's player model doesn't play well in third person imo
I'll be honest, I would love to see a video series of him playing with these mods.

But i dont have any computer or something(i dont have computer today too). So i tried to recreate this pack in Bedrock Edition. I created a weird but funny modpack and i play with my friends. We have so much fun in that pack. Thank you again for Joy and Happiness.👍
Not sure if it was mentioned, but sound physics and prescense footsteps are insane for some extra immersion.
Could you see if Marium's Soulslike Weaponry could work? It's a fabric mod that adds more bosses and weapons to the game and I think it would be a good addition
It's sorta unbalanced tbh, bosses and weapons do way more damage and have way more health to a point where it invalidates other equipment

hi there is a mod that would majorly increase the rpg-like element and that would be "souls like universe", it makes the game hard but has one of the greatest weapons and armours ive ever seen, not only that but all the monsters and bosses use "epic fight" fighting meaning you can block, dodge and counter attack basically every mob from the mod instead of just getting hit without an animation (like most mods do) it basically makes most of the mobs that spawn during night time monsters from this pack (i suggest you deactivate boss spawns from config otherwise it'll be impossible to survive during your first few survival days)
it is a super underrated mod! please do a review, took me days of experimenting in creative to understand and explore the whole mod, super underrated

Took some work but I turned this mash of mods into something playable! Had to learn how to make structure datapacks for the hundredth time just to make bonfires generate naturally. Also went ahead and used kubejs for a rudimentary class selection; with every class from Elden Ring done as accurately as I could get them. Definitely lacks in some parts though

I can't find a water physics mod that can be used at the same time as a block overhang physics mod. There's something for quilt on the same version, but the quilted fabric API isn't up to date on the version both are available.

There's this one horse mod that overhauls horseback riding (I forget what it's called), I think it would work perfectly with this mod.
Additionally, if you're using oculus, there was an Iris x Geckolib mod and that may fix the shadows
Fun fact: if you want structures to appear MORE abundantly, you can download sparse structures and mess with the config file to get it to generate more structures than normal. A fair bit of warning though, I did this and had multiple structures spawning on top of each other.
Haven't watched the full video but there's a mod called Miracle Road that adds the souls leveling system into minecraft that's compatible with epic fight and iron's spellbooks. It might need some scaling tweaks tho.

If you download configured and catalogue, in config menu loot beam render distance is set to 2 blocks. Thats why it is 2 blocks
I personally like to add Mine and Slash for the stat prefixes and affixes, and the ability to level up the gear like in elden ring.

Now all we need is a mod that brings up the text for felling an enemy when you beat a boss which could be customizable per entity as to what it says (similar to how in Elden Ring some say enemy, some say great enemy, demigod, etc.). Ik you could probably do it with command blocks but that's not exactly survival friendly and it wouldn't look very good either unless you spent days on each one which just isn't worth it for a boss that your going to beat once.
I have a suggestion: Can you make "Turning Minecraft into Ghost of Tsushima with mods" if possible?
