Taunting (verbally) unless its offensive or physical I think should be allowed. it creates rivalry's but healthy ones. Am Australian so not my main sport but I think healthy verbal taunts should be allowed
No, it doesn’t, it creates fights. Too many egos out there and not enough restraint. Too many punks with attitudes. You’re naive if you actually believe that!
@@dmontes133 True. That is why taunting and trash talk is limited to a very minimum. There are always players who want to get even and that leads to some nasty shit.
getting a flag for removing your helmet is dumb as hell. They expect you to stand there all stoic after scoring a diving catch with 14 seconds on the clock.
usually, i don’t agree with the whole “NO FUN LEAGUE” but like… come on man. The players aren’t allowed to get excited over their own play?
even the commentators saying, “let us be the one who get excited.” LIKE wtf? let the players get excited man.
Taking it off during the play I understand. But after the play? What's wrong with taking their helmet off? As long as they're not doing it in a taunting way I wouldn't call the act of taking it off unsportsmanlike.
At the end of the day, it's the rule. It is a veteran player. This is his 5th year in the NFL. I don't agree with the rule at all, I think it's very stupid, but he's been playing long enough he should know it's against the rule
As a lifelong rugby supporter, this makes me laugh.
8:31 "He was saying some mean things there, Greg."
Yeah, guess he said his mother dressed him funny, today. 😂
@4:25 I think we all know what the coach is saying there
To be honest, unsportsmanlike conduct should be rewarded and encouraged "number 15 talking spicy and spitting big facts offense gains 5 yards"
that's why the call it ,..the no fun league,. anyone notice they hardly ever call pass interference anymore ? 🤔
Even though it WAS taunting, That AJ Brown pointing at the 2 Steelers was classic.
That taunting rule needs to either be decreased to a 5 yard penalty or eliminated entirely because it has no impact on the play or player safety.
Taunting has no place first of all. And yes it does impact the game. Hence street talk is such a huge thing and a mind fuck. It’s a slippery slope and removing it fixes a lot of side issues.
@@deanladue5367 no, like other better sports, disqualifications are the equal.
@@Calibrex_Gaming ahh yes in a sport that gives you potential brain damage the big issue here is pointing a finger…
@@Calibrex_Gaming lmao mfs getting trucked over a damn ball and they can’t taunt is wha hurts the players mfs getting paid millions to get fkd up and taunting is the issue 😂 if thats the case cancel football how u tryna make a rough sport soft
@@darkskinddon not being able to taunt isn’t hurting the game, if it is, please show how. And they aren’t getting paid to mess people up. If that was true, then hurting people so no competition exists would be happening daily on the field, but it isn’t. And football has been becoming softer over the decades because it has to (too many post career player issues like not being able to speak, lowered average death age compared to other sports, etc)
Mike Periera at 3:30 showing the same standard baseball umpires use.
The biggest magic word to a ref or umpire: "You".
Save the taunting until after the game.
80 percent of these should just be continuations. What a joke the NFL is these days.
Kinda rich seeing the broncos taunting literally anyone 😂
I see this so much in the NFL now. Grown men just losing it like kids having temper tantrums. Since I played Football and Hockey growing up, I get it. But I would get you back during play, the right way. This goes on way to often and ruins teams drivers, games, etc. I never listened to smack talkers, in Basketball or Baseball either. it just gave me more reason to go into beast mode. 🙂 Man, at 61, I still miss contact sports. Now, I just play Golf, Tennis, Pickleball.....boring!!! LOL.
I feel like a few of these are the refs getting their egos hurt.
The one dude that got elbowed was maaad butthurt
The official with the shades at the end of the Was/NYG clip looks so fitting lol
Taunting an opponent just because you made one play is severe LD energy.
Number 7 for the Packers did the same thing against the Lions in the last game of the year...while they were trying to make the playoffs! lmao
THE BODIES ARE GETTING BIGGER..AND THE BRAINS ARE GETTING SMALLER
If I was DJ Moore, I probably would’ve had my helmet on on the sideline looking pissed instead of having it off with the “my bad” face and a smile
The refs are drunk with power
You may have that backwards the players know they can break the rules . Fight push taunt and get in no major trouble. ... They should lost 10 of salary every they get into a fight or touch a ref
4:27 the "THATS BULLSHIT" is strong with this one.
The NFL is showcasing how easy it is to rig a game with bullshit, made-up penalties that can directly affect the ebb and flow of a match.
5:06 will forever be my favorite 😂
He 100% deserved for chase to make it rain on him
Taunting rule should be abolished as it's just part of the game
So is getting even later in the game, right?
Im a steelers fan and i think Tomlin tripping the Ravens is the worst but also hilarious 🤣
Diontae Johnson always makes a great play and then screws it up by taunting right afterwards
And they say they are like family out there
Harmless points at guys after a catch should not be a penalty, not even words were spoken lmfaooo
Actions speak louder than words. And most definitely any type of taunting should be penalized. It has no place in the game. Period.
@@Calibrex_Gaming what are these actions doing? hurting their feelings?
@@Calibrex_Gaming it’s called football, they trash talk the ENTIRE game. Curse words are spoken on the line all game. Now they point after a play and it’s just over the top? Nah fam, that’s weak.
@@HypedBounty they are professionals, not thugs. Act accordingly. Making motions of signaling is thuggish (shot calling), words set as actions (hence the phrase I used in OP), and being unsportsmanlike has no place.
@@bruhbutton4520 I know what the game is called, you don’t need to repeat it. And trash talking has a time and place, but when their inappropriate and unsporting actions influence and cheapen the game, that’s why people dislike it - and football owners are trying to remove it. Every other better sport has gone lengths to clean up. Football is in the past with antiquated rules and methods.
As a steelers fan, the AJ Brown taunt was funny and there was no reason for a flag
Honestly refs act so offended when they get talked back to by the players
could be worse, i play rugby and youre not even allowed to argue a call without getting penalized or ejected
@@mouse.04 I watch these videos with absolute amazement It’s mind boggling the shit NFL fans are accustomed to. As you know the referee is called ‘Sir’ in Rugby. You just have to teach them this when they’re young. Which they don’t do.
@@mouse.04 honestly refs need to stop acting like theyre better than everyone else on the field (do you play rugby on a field? Sorry i dont really know much about rugby)
@@thewhitehornet2274 Honestly, refs have to be above the players so game stays in control. You let players do stupid things, bad things happen.
@@RoyalMela yeah ik but they act like they’re gods
They need to change taunting one way or the other:
Either:
A taunting/UC penalty is 15 from the spot (including put the college rule into effect), the down counts if dead ball, THEN you check for the first down.
OR
A taunting/UC penalty is "set the sticks, THEN enforce", an offensive UC/taunting makes it first and 25.
I always felt like taking off the helmet or any celebration that receives a flag after a touchdown is stupid
So you were OK when Terrell Owens celebrated at the Cowboys star logo twice? That's how fights start and why they tightened up the rules.
@@miketubbs1198 The penalty should be for fighting, not star "desecration" OR taunting.
Players should play by rules all rules no exceptions
Yes, I agree. It is stupid to celebrate in a way you earn a penalty, or knowing the rule to keep your helmet on you, and still take it off, and get a penalty.
2:28 nice catch
This is how the NFL rigs their games
lmao ok grandpa take your meds and get in bed
@@masift1494 I’m probably younger than you dork
Oh grow up already
@@MrSpeeeeeder Yeah, it’s loser talk.
That unsportsmanlike penalty on Moore really cost Carolina a playoff spot 🤦♂️
I find it kinda silly how taunting/unsportsmanlike conduct is just as bad as grabbing someone's face mask and yanking it.
Crazy how Walker loves to attack people who aren’t playing football xD
There should be more of those penalties called to discourage the childish behavior of these ego-maniacs.
Then the players might as well be mute the whole game if that makes you happy
More like “Clown Talker”
steffon diggs did this when the mineapolis miracle 0:05 he took his helmet off
Bro I hate reefs
You mean where some fish live 😂?
I never heard anyone have such hatred towards reefs. He’s like Anakin but with reefs instead of sand.
Take a shot every time someone gets pissed at the niners defense
Zebras gone haywire. This is not football any more. Next thing you know they will be enforcing flag football rules. I would guess Shannon Sharpe would be ejected from every game now.
Quay: I'll shove 'ya, don't care who you are! I'll shove 'ya no matter where we are!
I think every ref needs to watch this
what is it with Quay Walker and opposing team benches? does he hate em?
Gotta be the dumbest rule in football to be flagged taunting
With Moore, that was him feeling his ego fill and reacting to it then realizing he had cost himself tenfold because of it… rough
Shouldn’t have been called
