It's perfectly fine to tackle an opponent and slam them to the ground but..............but merely taunt a player and get a foul? Talk about total BS. NFL should grow a pair.
I mean, the thumbnail of the video is a ref with clown makeup drawn on... but some of these were legit. Not all of them, but they definitely weren't ALL just over-empowered refs being killjoys.
I love the flags. Celebrate REAL plays, not a tackle, or a block. Also, celebrate with your teammates. Football is a team sport. If you cannot “get” this, go do an individual sport like swimming.
In high school one of our players got flagged for taunting he pointed to the air after he scored but he was horning his friend a fellow player who tragically passed away in a car crash.
Broadcaster said “it’s an emotional game” 9:50, dude if you can't control your emotions in exchange for millions then better go do ubering, that’s it!!

It is never a good idea to taunt an opponent. It simply motivates them to play better, and harder.

For example, I love it when the Defense runs into end zone after a pick, or big play. That is team celebration.
