@fox do you get sense or feel for the organiser / organization behind each event? Not the UCI - the local team or person that actually bids and puts on the event?
Couple of questions for Jordi, Have you ever tested shocks and forks that are running the same temperatures (I guess using some kinda warmer) as when they finish a lap ? and if riders are running say 87psi when they see you in the pits does the elevation at the top of the top of the mountain stay the same ? if so why are you not using nitrogen which is less susceptible to temperature changes

I think it might be so they can be sure to catch either specific riders, or everyone as they come down the hill doing their own track walks? Just a guess.
They explained it in this video and almost every track walk video - so they can catch the riders coming down the track. If they started at the top they’d have to go faster than the riders to catch up with them.
