ok I am just starting. what barbell set do you recommend. I am 5'3, 118lb and have only done 5lb dumbells thus far...so I think I need a lighter set for now. ANYONE else new...what did you invest in for at home

You could totally add resistance bands to this bar, Sugar/Rocka Fit Candy Bar style.

I just found this video and noticed you are from Connecticut! Yay me too but in Florida now for 20 years. I love your video. Following. How many times per week?

Hello, I am glad you find the video useful for you. You can do this workout 2-3 times per week. If you strength train you typically want one day of rest from targeting that specific muscle in between.

How to select the weight for the beginner?Any suggestions ?
    Thank you.

I would always recommend starting with a lighter weight since the repetitions are in the 12-15 range. You want moderately challenging. If it feels too light you can more up weight each set. If you don't workout at all, start light for the full workout. The next time you do it gauge if you were sore at all or if it felt easy. The best advice is to listen to your body!

What weight is the bar you used in the video?

This bar is an 18lb bar, so relatively light but good for a beginner
