The best thing about Khan Academy is that their videos are short and on point. I watched several other videos which were like 20-30 min long about the same topic and here Khan Academy taught us so well in just 5 min. Thank you so much!
Why do you say that? Every school may has a way in studying also if we talk to them as if we talk badly to them . We should respect while we trade with people or whereas ,wherever we are '' take this your way.
@@moaz-26 it’s just the the way my school does the online program they have never done any thing like this and still on this second semester haven’t figured it out I understand why with such a large amount of kids but they just seem to devote all of their time to the kids going to physical school

Lmao 😂😂 why are people saying they can't understand it this is the best explanation of this I got so far. Also videos aren't "watch once only" thing you can repeat it over and over. Sorry, I know there's really just slow learners out there I am very sorry
A teacher gave me a link to this. I like this video although, the work with it isn't my favorite part. I still have fun doing my work thanks to videos like this!
Thank you for explaining this in such a clear way! This video really helped me understand subordinating conjunctions and practice recognizing independent and dependent clauses.
Hello, great lesson here though I have a very confusing question. 'Although' is a subordinating conjunction. When you remove it, it makes the remaining two sentences both independent. What then makes the difference between subordinating and coordinating conjunctions. Rather, should we master them( subordinating and coordinating conjunctions) just as formulas?
I dont know if i got your question right, but the thing that makes a sub or coor. conjunction is the meaning of the word itself. Sure we can leave the subj. conjunctions out but then it becomes stale. When we use them to make clauses dependant we allow them to be richer grammatically. when the conjunction means opposittion (like and, but, yet) it prbably is a coordinating conjuction, when it states a conection or a follow up (likebecause, then, so that) is a suboordinate conjuction. hope I helped a lil bit haha
123grammar is clear on this. All languages have independent n subordinate clauses. The Grammar concept has to resemble e.o in order to making dialogue possible. Cross-culturally
@3.26: u were not reading "but Beckany preferred to sweep the floor" while in the other sentence you were reading "Although she loved Sir Reginald" as a dependent clause. I didn't understand why you excluded "But" ..but included "Although". Please throw some light on this.
Sorry I still didn't get it If we removed 'although' we get "she loved Sir Reginald" which is (if I'm not wrong) a sentence. But if we say 'although she loved Sir Reginald' yeah it provokes questions in my head. But as an example 'I like apple yet I don't have it' If we take the part 'yet I don't have it' it still provoke questions in my head.
but if we don't remove any of the conjunctions then we can say that after separating the clauses the compound sentence makes sense and the complex one doesn't
IC stands for Independent Clause DC stands for Dependent Clause CC stands for Coordinating Conjunction which are For, and, nor, but, or, yet, and so. CA stands for Coordinating Adverbs such as however, nevertheless ... etc
@4:00, Couldn't we separate the sentence as 'she loved Sir Reginald' and 'Lady Penelope hated his pranks'. And 'although' like 'but' behaves as a conjunction that joins two independent clauses. Please clarify.
I was thinking the same thing. In the first sentence, he removes the conjunction to evaluate whether the clauses are dependent or independent, but in the second sentence he does not. If he would've removed "although" before evaluating, it would've left "she loved Sir Reginald", which is an independent clause. Can anyone provide any clarity here?
What would u say about this one. "In conclusion, animals are important to human beings because they benefit us socially, personally as well as economically". AS WELL AS, is a subordinating or coordanating conjunction?
Wow. That's crystal clear. Thank you. If you could do some more grammar video, it will be really helpful. Especially, "stop the error". Looking forward
An independent clause can be a sentence and the separating into two different sentences is when a coordinating conjunction is used because they join two independent clause
The best thing about Khan Academy is that their videos are short and on point. I watched several other videos which were like 20-30 min long about the same topic and here Khan Academy taught us so well in just 5 min.

What do you mean by "Independent clause can stand on its own?" and how is it different than " can be separated into two different sentences"?
An independent clause can be a sentence and the separating into two different sentences is when a coordinating conjunction is used because they join two independent clause
