Great job on your video. I have a similar set-up in my Land Cruiser. I found that adding stiffener bars from Greyman Tactical helped to stabilize the RMP panel. Also a small piece of foam in the drawer at the top eliminates the rattle and doesn't interfere with the function.
Thanks. Yeah, this set up is fantastic and very stable. I didn’t realize that Greyman Tactical actually made backer plates specific to the Vaultek safe. Luckily, the backer plates I used worked well for my set up. I actually installed this same Vaultek safe in my Grand Cherokee, using the passenger seat rail, which works well, but is definitely more noisy, and limits how far you can move the seat back…I may use a larger Greyman Tactical RMP in my Grand Cherokee in the future.
Ty so much for this! I have a 2019 WRX and was trying to find options other than under the seat lock boxes. I like the Vaultek Slider Safe but didn't like the strap + cable solution they have.
Wow, talk about luck finding something so specific to my car. Really looking at this as just short term storage while Im at work or running into a store that doesn't allow carry etc. My only problem with this mounting solution is that it just advertises that you have a firearm inside.
@@MrMcbear Yeah, darker tinted windows would be ideal to keep people from seeing the device. Truthfully, I would need to have my eyes glued to the side window to see it in my vehicle, but the tint is a little darker.

No problem. This solution for mounting has worked exceedingly well. Very minimal reverberation as compared to the setup in my Grand Cherokee.
