I so much love how Dave have absolutely no prejudgements about electronic music. People with background, skills and career as him tend to claim it's not real music. Dave? You're really inspirational and a LOT of us should learn from you. And thanks to this show, we can! I'm loving it every single week! :)
ITL pt 2 awesome. I loved this one... and of course the guitar/rock guys are my favorites, but honestly Ross' idea of serving was great. It did not take away that he was chatty... it helps us people persons think right about music. Great show... good stuff. Still waiting and requesting the "HOW NOT TO" ITL. Show is getting better and better. Love the conversations way more than the more techie ones. Just like this one.
Some good stuff in this one! Seems like the pace is different lately, more storytelling with good advice thrown in rather that pointed interviews directed to a purpose. Still great stuff.
Dave, and all others who is wondering: About delay timing, gate timing etc. It's easy to calculate the times. Just take 60.000 divided with your song bpm. Example: Your tempo is 117 bpm. Then just take 60.000/117=512,82 (513). double speed= 513/2 and so on... This was about the first things I learned the first time I was in a recording studio. This is great for setting release times in gates etc. I my self does not believe in not knowing what's going on in the software. MikeE
Laughed so hard I nearly pissed myself lol. Dave's expression makes it seem like a genuine appeal for help. :)
