@@CampingwiththeColes Also we have a ten footer that I use for my fishing trips, but when we both go away in the summer we also have a considerably larger trailer.
What an awesome video. Makes me miss camping even more now, can’t wait until end of April for our first camp at sandbanks. Hope to cross paths with u guys sometime and now I’ll look out for the Adventure Bug also!
My partner and I have the same trailer, absolutely love it. We keep it in the garage so it stores nice and I added a Bluetti 200max power unit that I plug into the battery feed from the front to feed the power panel. It's a great comprise between tenting and a big camper. It's important to shutoff the inverter in the power panel if doing this. Enjoy guys ,and just wanted to say it was nice to meet you both last year,we were the kayakers in your Tea Lake video cheers
We love our Bushwhacker 12ROK. Because of the size, we spend a lot of time outdoors, which is the reason we leave home. We put on over 18,000 km on ours last year. So much fun! And we also travel with our Whirly Pop popcorn maker! The best!
Well thought out customization. I like the little ‘magazine’ netted pockets on the back of the doors for some clothes. We to used them on the back of our seats on our coaches. Great ideas all through this "Bug". Gives me some ideas for our unit. Thanks
@@JenniferVoisin We got the Kuma buffalo plaid chairs, love seat, and dog bed but went with a grey gazebo because we though it might be too much buffalo plaid. Now that I see your set up, I wish we had embraced it!
Weekend warrior machine for sure! I love peoples' creativity with upgrades that little bunk table is keen! Kitchen galleys are underrated. As a kid my dad had a popular mechanics magazine with a DIY teardrop that he never got to building. I'm retiring now at 55 and looking to upgrade from a 8 yr pop-up to a minimal 20" ish travel with full queen bed. Love the channel! Thank you!
Thanks for another small trailer walk around. That will be the next step for my husband and I. What is their tow vehicle? Always love watching. Can't wait for your where are we going this year video.
I like the teardrop set up and would like to try one sometime. I went the other way of having a tent trailer to use from my mom that has the tent and the trailer in the same unit lol
What beautiful and intelligent mods! We had this exact trailer in 2023, returning to camping after boating for a couple of decades. It got us off the ground … we named our trailer too (yes, a boater thing). In 2024 we went up in size to a Rove Lite 14FL, still small but easier to deal with (inside dinette, kitchen, wet bath). Thanks for the review!
Nice review. I love the mods and how you utilized space that you wouldn't have otherwise used into something useful and the themed, DIY touches to make it unique. It's also nice to see options for people who still like to camp the old-fashioned way, but be off the ground sleeping. We upgraded to a 16ft trailer for similar reasons s and have removed things for added storage as well. We even named it "Wolfie". Enjoy the 2025 season!
Oh I love this trailer it would be all id need like that cook area. I crown camp so it would work well. It would be awesome for backroad campers if your around a lake you can take a dip to get clean , or have an outdoor shower / toilet area ( I have a shower/ toilet tent.. With me id have a smaller bed . Love the buffalo plaid . Thanks folks for the tour
@suezaple4950 It would be a good trailer for backroad camping as it does have big heavy duty tires. We do try to get sites close to comfort stations when at the parks but we do have a shelter/ porta potty when we need one. We love the Buffalo plaid, it’s so outdoorsy. We love being outdoors but with the comforts of our sleeping quarters being off the ground. Enjoy your camping this year!
And you folks enjoy yours . I love tear drops , Big trailers feel like your still at home , I dont want that. I crown camp in Northern Ont. up off the 522 past Grundy P.P.
I wanted a teardrop trailer about 20 yrs ago, when we were still tenting and I just wanted a warm, comfortable bed that was off the ground. Now that we have a trailer with an indoor kitchen and bathroom, I can't go back. It's as if the more comforts you get, the less you want to do without.
It's definitely hard to go back once you've enjoyed the comforts of a larger trailer. Cheryl really likes the idea of these little trailers but couldn't possibly do it because she'd need to haul an extra cargo trailer for all her stuff.🤣
I can certainly appreciate and understand that, which is part of the reason why we wanted to start off small to begin with. We are enjoying it more than we anticipated so plan on sticking with the ‘Bug’ for many years to come!
We are new to tear drop trailers. We researched and researched and even rented a Bushwacker for a few days. We finally found one that ticks ALL of our boxes, the Gnome Home tent trailer. As Brad & Jenn said, we would not use a water tank, sink, a/c or furnace. The Gnome Home does not have any of those which has increased the storage for what we want and need. And who needs to pay for all of that and not use them?? Our Gnome Home, we've named him Gnorm, also has a vestibule tent that velcros to the awning. This amazing tent also has a rubberized floor, the tent actually is bigger than the trailer and allows us to use the tent as a change room. We also used it when the weather was a bit iffy and put a small table and 2 chairs in it. It is the perfect set up for us. We drove out to Sherwood Park, Alberta last May to pick it up and camped our way back home to Ontario, what a great trip that was! I hope that Brad & Jenn enjoy their Adventure Bug for many years and hope to see them out camping sometime!
@kelleystanczak8 Good to hear your story above and that you are a teardrop owner and camper as well. Love the name of your trailer too! I hope you enjoy your teardrop as much as we do ours. If you are camping and see our little bug, stop by and say hi!
Oops, I accidentally had this go live at midnight instead of 8 am.
I'm sure we'll enjoy it just as much. Just waiting for my wife to wake up...
I wondered why the change in time last night. I ended up staying up a little later to watch it. Don't regret.
Haha I appreciated it! I got to watch before the kids got up!
Enjoyed the tour. Nice set up. Very creative mods. All the creature comforts, without losing any of the genuine 'camping' experience.

Wonderful modifications! You just need the Kuma buffalo plaid gazebo to go with your set up ❤
Thanks so much! The Kuma gazebo is on our list as an addition this year! Can’t wait to get it🙂

@kephillips99 that’s great, glad to hear you understood the boater reference, what did you name your trailer?
You'll probably like our next video in two weeks. It's a couple that moved up from a 15 foot Trillium to a 19 foot Escape.
@@JenniferVoisin we named it El Nido (the Nest). But we haven’t named our current trailer, still thinking about it. :)

Having a 'dry' camper makes so much sense in Canada for ease of storage etc
