To see which way was used by the prophet in most cases just see which way was done by Imam Malik and his students and is now preferred by the Maliki school
I have a question about the riwayah that you mentioned about Sayyidna Umar and Hisham ibn Malik's recitation of Surah Furqan. Do you have any idea which verses of Surah Furqan are we talking about, and what was the different in both recitations? I haven't been able to locate the exact verses, but considering your knowledge of qiraat I think you might be able suggest few verses in Surah Furqan that have different recitations according to different qiraats.
Asslamo alikom, Alhamdulilah. Unfortunately, there is no mention about which aya they were talking about in this hadith. I tried to find it when preparing the lesson, but couldn't find a source that provides certainty, so that's why I didn't mention it. However, Ibn Hajar reported on what Ibn At-Tin said, that it was about the word سراجا which is found in aya 61. It is mentioned as singular سراجا and also as سُرُجا which is plural. and both qira'at are confirmed and correct, so this might be it, but again, it's not confirmed, and is just an assumption. Allah knows best. Asslamo alikom
@Arabic 101 Jazak-Allah Khair for the response. The reason I asked about this hadith was that I have heard few people who claim that there is only 1 qiraat not 7, that this hadith about Sayidna Umar and Hisham (R.A) is incorrect despite being in saheehain. But your response has cleared my doubt to a large extent Alhamdolillah.
@@AmmarMalik93 Asalaamu Alaikum It is an indepth , highly advanced study but there are numerous books written on the Qiraat and biographies of the reciters. Some go into such detail as down to single letter , the way it is drawn. If one doesn't know ancient Arabic well it will appear there are speaking of the same thing . I was amazed by just doing surface research.
On the authority of Umm Haani’ bint Abi Taalib (رضي الله عنها). She said: “The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ , walked past me one day so I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, I have become old and weak - or something similar to this - so tell me of a good deed that I can do while I am sitting.’ *He ﷺ said: “Say ‘Subhaan Allaah’ 100 times for it is equivalent to freeing 100 slaves from the offspring of Ismaa‘eel; and say ‘Al-Hamdu li-llaah’ 100 times for it is equivalent to 100 horses saddled with reins ready to carry fighters in the cause of Allaah; and say ‘Allaahu Akbar’ 100 times for it is equivalent to 100 camels slaughtered for the sake of Allaah; and say ‘La Ilaah Illa Allaah’ 100 times.” Ibn Khalaf (the narrator from ‘Aasim) said, “I think he said: ‘…it fills what is between the heavens and the earth, and on that day out of all the deeds that are risen to Allaah, none will be better than yours except for a person who said what you said.’* [(Musnad Ahmad) Al-Munthiri, Al-Haythami, and Al-Albaani classified it as Hasan (good)
Whether different Qirah are being published and circulated for common person? Can a Imam of any Masjid read the same Surah in one Qirah today and the same Surah by other Qirah the next day?
Assalamo alikom, can you do a video about Uthman (may Allah pleased with him) burning copies of Quran. What was the reason behind it? Jazakallah khayran.
The other books that were burned were not copied from the first complete Quran that the servant of the prophet help make so that’s why it was burned then after that all Quran that were written were copied from the first book
I'm a little confused didn't the qiraat came later based on the choices of those teachers who taught it so the prophet (peace be upon him) & the companions perhaps didn't use those exact methods from the qiraat but still chose from the 7 ashruf to recite the quran? please clarify
Ahruf are seven forms Quran was recitied in and Qiraat is plural for Qaari which means recitor. So they are not the same, the popular recitor / Qaari which are ten rectie from the seven ahruf revealed. So again 10 recitors is refered to as ten qiraats. seven ahruf are seven different forms quran is revealed in from Allah to the prophet sallahualayhi wasalam.
Allah is more knowing but I think it's bc we don't have to beautify our voice while reading them. Don't take this comment as an answer tho I'm not sure.
Bruh if you look at the Uthmanic Manuscript, it is written in such a way which facilitates for the reading of all ten Qira'aat. Similarly we should believe that in LauhAlMahfudh there is a way for every Qira'ah to be read.
@@luisdemolina9987 there were four uthmanic manuscripts. One I know is in Istanbul. However if you want more information read the book The history of the Quranic Text by Muhammad Mustafa.
But we don't know exactly on what harf read Hisham ibn Hakim. He can be learned by another harf not only Quraish for example to teach the Quran not Quraish people, another Arabic tribe.

@@DARTH-R3VAN I am aware of that. But I wanted some Hadith reports,if there any. Hope you have understood.
@@KT-ht2xj why do you look for hadeeths which are lesser versions of mutawatir? Mutawatir is higher than Sahih, and Sahih than Hasan, and Hasan than Daeef.
What about qiraa Abu jaffer
The characteristics you mentioned are present in surah maa'oon and kausar
Tas-heel and meem Jama in maa'oon and ibdal in kausar

mashallah iam trying to learn quran arabic letters meaning
I wish you could make fusha arabic conversation with english subtitle so that we can talk like in prophet Muhammad era.
Interesting video. One question I had is - how do you know that the Quraish used Ibdal, Tashil, and Silah on Meem Al-Jam in their Arabic? Just a note - Abu Amr doesn't make Silah on the Meem Al-Jam, you may have confused it with Abu Ja'far who does.
Our Prophet said (ﷺ)
“Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.”
Dont forget to recite Ayatul kursi before sleep
Our Prophet (ﷺ) said,
When you go to your bed, recite Ayatul Kursi and you will be protected by Allah, and no devil will come near you until morning.(5010)

For qiroah
واتقوا الله الذي تسّاءل ....
So تسّاءل is tashil for تساءل? Bcz as what I learn there is no fiil with wazn تفّاعل
You didn't mention qira't ibi Jafar as it has lots of the tasheel and meem aljam3.
I love your videos, what software do you use?
بارك الله فيك و جزاك خيرا.
Yeah based off his description, Abu Ja'far seems to be the closest one to Quraysh.
Plz do you post the tazweed differences between The Hafs bin Asim and Su'bah kirayat,??
I think khalaf an hamza has both those aspects you mentioned
Assalaam aleikum Warahmatullah wabarakaatuh...
Couldn't we easily tell the Prophet's dialect and which method he used to recite Quran from the way he used to talk in hadeeth.
I don't whether I'm saying this wrong but the Prophets pronunciation and grammar in hadeeth is closer to hafs 'an aswim.
Please clarify for me here.
Asslamo alikom,
Alhamdulilah.

It is an indepth , highly advanced study but there are numerous books written on the Qiraat and biographies of the reciters. Some go into such detail as down to single letter , the way it is drawn. If one doesn't know ancient Arabic well it will appear there are speaking of the same thing . I was amazed by just doing surface research.
On the authority of Umm Haani’ bint Abi Taalib (رضي الله عنها). She said: “The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ , walked past me one day so I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, I have become old and weak - or something similar to this - so tell me of a good deed that I can do while I am sitting.’
*He ﷺ said: “Say ‘Subhaan Allaah’ 100 times for it is equivalent to freeing 100 slaves from the offspring of Ismaa‘eel; and say ‘Al-Hamdu li-llaah’ 100 times for it is equivalent to 100 horses saddled with reins ready to carry fighters in the cause of Allaah; and say ‘Allaahu Akbar’ 100 times for it is equivalent to 100 camels slaughtered for the sake of Allaah; and say ‘La Ilaah Illa Allaah’ 100 times.” Ibn Khalaf (the narrator from ‘Aasim) said, “I think he said: ‘…it fills what is between the heavens and the earth,
and on that day out of all the deeds that are risen to Allaah, none will be better than yours except for a person who said what you said.’*

Whether different Qirah are being published and circulated for common person? Can a Imam of any Masjid read the same Surah in one Qirah today and the same Surah by other Qirah the next day?
Yes, more on that topic in this lesson: ruclips.net/video/D1EBFSAKTgs/видео.html

الحمد لله
Can I know do you open class in your country?

من فضلك أخي ما الفرق بين القراءات العشر و 7 أحرف؟
الأحرف السبعة هي الأحرف التي نزل بها القرآن. أما القراءات فهي اختيارات القرىٰ مع كثير من الأحرف.

So only people in Morocco Algeria Libya Tunisia Mauritania that read Quran close to Quraisy dialect (from qiraat Nafi').
The west Africans do as well all the way across into Darfur in western Sudan. Most of the rest of Sudan read Aduri
How many ahruf do we have now?
Make sure you do not have your arms infront of a butcher and your hopes for other than Allah(سبحانه و تعالى)
Does different qirooat produce different meaning ?
Yes, they add to the meaning, but they never contradict each other.

Warsh an Nafi. Another win for Ahlil Medina and their followers
Difference between Ahruf(7) and Qiraat(10)
Ahruf are seven forms Quran was recitied in and Qiraat is plural for Qaari which means recitor. So they are not the same, the popular recitor / Qaari which are ten rectie from the seven ahruf revealed. So again 10 recitors is refered to as ten qiraats. seven ahruf are seven different forms quran is revealed in from Allah to the prophet sallahualayhi wasalam.
I answered that question in this video: ruclips.net/video/8hj7u0F3yEg/видео.html&t

If the prophet spoke with ibdal and tashil, why don't we make ibdal and tashil when we read ahadith?
Allah is more knowing but I think it's bc we don't have to beautify our voice while reading them. Don't take this comment as an answer tho I'm not sure.
RasulAllah told us to recite what ever is easiest for us
The real question is which Qira'ah is on the eternal / heavenly / well-guarded Tablet?
Bruh if you look at the Uthmanic Manuscript, it is written in such a way which facilitates for the reading of all ten Qira'aat. Similarly we should believe that in LauhAlMahfudh there is a way for every Qira'ah to be read.
Only Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala knows.
@@DARTH-R3VAN That would be wonderful. Where is this Uthmanic Manuscript, dated from the mid 7th century with 114 Surahs?
@@luisdemolina9987 there were four uthmanic manuscripts. One I know is in Istanbul. However if you want more information read the book The history of the Quranic Text by Muhammad Mustafa.
But we don't know exactly on what harf read Hisham ibn Hakim. He can be learned by another harf not only Quraish for example to teach the Quran not Quraish people, another Arabic tribe.
Who is the reciter ?! Where can I find more recitation like that? What is it called
