To be clear, that's editing magic -- in the game itself, the inset graphic takes up the full screen. This is, in part, because 1k has dialog choices to make at various points in rhe conversations. Due to editing you cannot see what options were selected and what other options were available.
I love how they do the storytelling in these games. There's not much of a distraction while you're actually solving the puzzles and you get all of your dialogue while going in between.
@@ethanchristensen7388 100 %. I love when it feels like you're exploring a world with the characters in the game. Lol, it seems a bit ironic but it makes the story feel more organic (despite all the characters being robotic)
Tho a lot of interacting interaction is skipped by not talking to the characters on the puzzle levels (you have to walk up to them and interact when they have a text bubble overhead, like Byron at 5:40~)
I wasn't immediately sold on this game, but I've come around now and it has me thoroughly enthralled. Excellent writing, excellent worldbuilding and environments, and excellent puzzle design! I look forward to the next episode :)
Hey Tyler, you didn't exactly include a whole lot of footage of the lab for this area, and each lab is dedicated to teasing what the next puzzle element will be, so if you and the editors could make sure to include a decent glance of the experiment on the table for the next episode, it would be lovely
Tyler's life lessons are always fun to hear (in this video it starts at 25:45 and ends at 25:50) I was eating while watching this video and almost choked on my food when I heard this one.
I love how you got the whole area in 1 video. Im watching other youtuber and he beats areas in 2 episodes most likely but he check much more lore which is fun too. The lore is so hecking huge which is just so good. Its so well written. Thank you!
I would recommend you to turn the compass in the settings it will make it a bit less miserable to look for all the important places like additional puzzules and labs
I really love how much Croteam added new layers of complexity onto the already advanced mechanics from Talos Principle 2. Sure, i did pass majority of each region easily, but a decent amount of them left me really stumped with finding the solution.
I watched an uncommented playthrough of roughly 3/4 of the game and I won’t spoil anything but just know that this game is a masterpiece and the story will get even more exciting, moving and thought provoking! You’ll love it!
Seesaw is the level you can complete with one connector only for the achievement, also ladders are usually to prevent softlocks (although that isn't always the case, sometimes they're necessary for the puzzle and sometimes softlocks can happen because putting a ladder there would trivialize the puzzle, so you just have to restart the level, which I don't mind but you might)
I spent so fucking long on that seesaw puzzle and when I seen Tyler’s solution compared to mine, I facepalmed. Now I’ve read your comment and can insanely visualise how to do that, and I just wonder how I didn’t see that solution either. What the heck!
I love watching someone who’s actually good at puzzles. There are different things we solve immediately. Tyler spotted the meta connectors right away, while I spent a good 15-20 min trying to get the RGB emitter out of the level before finally spotting the connector just outside the level 😂
I'm only one minute in, but I can already see having to drill holes to make spaces for connector beams to fit through. This is going to be such a fun mechanic once other puzzle mechanics are being introduced, especially beams. Edit: 2 minutes in and it's already begun. Wonderful :D
This game reminds me of can of wormholes, neither of their pilot episodes really interested me but I continued watching to support Tyler and ended up getting very invested in both
Well I've listened tothe last video's title and 100%ed the game in the days in between that and this. Time to cry about how much faster Tyler solves the puzzles!
so, 6 was actually the first one I solved, because I am chaotic. I did not know you could get 2 drillers down, so what I did was activate the driller at the apex of the jump so the jammer fell through. Thought it was rather buggy, but it works!
'The Hunter does not hunt because he is hungry. The hunter hunts because he revels in death.' He could hunt because he's hungry too. Or he's bored. Or what he hunts is a threat, meaning he actually seeks to preserve his own life. There are as many reasons to such actions as there are stars in the sky. To attempt to assign one singular meaning to such things reveals only ones own biases and beliefs and the limitations held therein. And Pandora's seems to be negative in nature.
13:12 something tells me there's morse code in the song in the background, but I might be looking too far into it. Feels wrong not to notice it though.
Didn't realize that the group call is edited! That fits so naturally that when I actually played the game it confused me a bit. "Hey this is different from the Aliensrock video!" lmao
Actually, humans would be better at holding the Flame than Pandora; Pandora was a statue of marble brought to life by the gods, and if humans are creature of clay, then humans would be tempered by the Flame and made into ceramic, which has a better heat resistance than Pandora's stone, which would melt. Checkmate, humans deserve the Flame more.
The game is good but I’m confused ‘bout upload shifting. It’s an hour later than usual, blink twice if you’re kidnapped and making videos in basement, Tyler.
Tyler is too smart for his own good. He overcomplicated the puzzle at 8:20, trying to make it harder than it really was. I do prefer his look at the possible solution though
I loved the little discord call in the bottom right and how it felt like Tyler was actually talking to them cause the response felt so natural

That was some really top tier editing
I love how they do the storytelling in these games. There's not much of a distraction while you're actually solving the puzzles and you get all of your dialogue while going in between.
It helps that the dialog isn't expositional. The other characters feel real because they don't know any more than we do.

He doesn't solve puzzles because he wants to progress, he solves because he revels in the solution
I’m glad to see you’ve figured out how to make the titles and thumbnails for this series.
Underrated editing moment at 21:20-ish where they turn down the music as it get weirdly way too loud. thank you sirs

Tyler, don't forget to turn on the compass! It will save you a lot of useless wandering
Keep in mind that he has almost certainly finished the game (or is close). Patron members are 8 episodes ahead, after all.
@@jmr5125 Wait, this is on patreon? I thought that he was doing patreon exclusive series
lol the kazoo Outer Wilds ending at 30:47 got me 😂
These puzzles are so satisfying to see completed.

Seeing how amazing this is so far, I’m ecstatic to see what it will become and what will happen! Thanks for taking us on this journey Tyler.

Very funny how Tyler interacts with the game, too.

I’m getting as excited seeing talos principe uploads, as I did Can of Wormholes.
I've been playing this game on my own, and it's truly amazing. I can't imagine a better sequel.
1:52 I could watch this moment on repeat all day bahahaha!!
This game looks awesome. Glad to be able to watch someone else play it, I’m sure I would get stumped eventually lol
This game is awesome. Excited to see the series continue!

Now you're thinking with portals.
Portals from Wish, sure, but portals nonetheless.
Portals from Marvel actually lol. 😂
The talos principle is one of the best tutorial style level design I've seen in a looong while
This game reminds me of can of wormholes, neither of their pilot episodes really interested me but I continued watching to support Tyler and ended up getting very invested in both
"Welcome back to the Talos Principle 2" My favourite words!
That Confucius cutaway was comical gold!!!
Seems like they did a good job naming the puzzles in such a way that it gives a hint without making it too obvious
Nothing like tuning in to see Tyler play with some holes.
32:40 - those bridges looks like they have multiple solutions.
Well I've listened tothe last video's title and 100%ed the game in the days in between that and this. Time to cry about how much faster Tyler solves the puzzles!
Ben's Comments:
Drillers are an extension of Jammers. Jammers can open doors, Drillers can open up walls.
Being from Wisconsin I expected you to be used to deer running at you randomly
I love how the robots really are like humans. The profile pictures alone are better than the ones of most humans xD
Hungry, tired, completely terrible day and I can't afford anything... but then we get talos principle 2 content, I'd say it balances out
Plase came back for that ladder on the right of the screen in 4:57
1:50 its like the ghost from talos principal 1
so, 6 was actually the first one I solved, because I am chaotic. I did not know you could get 2 drillers down, so what I did was activate the driller at the apex of the jump so the jammer fell through. Thought it was rather buggy, but it works!
23:20 and also why it's called Seesaw. Very clever.
34:10 Great theory, did you LOOK AT THE MAP for that one? 😂😂😂
Gotta love tyler, he's a pro at drilling holes
You know its a good day when tyler uploads
Thank you Tyler for drilling our holes!
Its extremely interesting, as I solved Loop, Keeping Connections and Eye of the Needle in completely different ways.
Woah, they really machinified doctor strange...
"I think I can just jam through the drilled hole.. that's big"
'The Hunter does not hunt because he is hungry. The hunter hunts because he revels in death.'
He could hunt because he's hungry too. Or he's bored. Or what he hunts is a threat, meaning he actually seeks to preserve his own life.

This game is REALLY fun to watch
The game gives off very Myst vibes with their scale and transport capsules... But with much less opaque mechanics.
Omg inscription, that series was the best
“Will I be able to play violin after the surgery?”
“Yes of course.”
“Sweet! I could never play before!”
32:03 whats that floating blue thing at the top middle
everytime pandora starts talking crazy to me i'm just like "Lady, i am a robot."
this game is so fun, highly recommend picking it up
This looks incredible
I hate daylight savings. It is so confusing and unnecesary
This game is a pleasure to watch.
Cant freaking wait for the next episode gosh darn.
The star puzzles are the real "Stars" of this game.
“Shit, I thought I was just recording” had to like the video then and there.
27:55 and that, kids, is a loop
Fun fact, theres a way to solve 8 without using the driller, but it requires out of the box thinking.
Yes. More.
More!
But of lore theory: the driller makes me think that the world they are in is *another* simulation
I'm on 1440p and the bitrate is still crying at all the foliage ^^;
what a cool game!!
You missed a extra terminal on a catwalk in the lab.
The sequel to BEAM being of course HOLE.
13:12 something tells me there's morse code in the song in the background, but I might be looking too far into it. Feels wrong not to notice it though.
"HOLY, deer !" indeed
4:02 Inscryption reference for those wondering
30:47 wasn't there a "Frazzz" on the team? wonder where they went.
I fired him.
It's a shame this series isn't doing very hot so far, it's a great game.
I haven't thought that you... don't need to smuggle items from puzzles to get the star, but I did anyway.
love your videos
I'm peeved he didn't talk to Byron, even though it was obvious he was there for it.
Didn't realize that the group call is edited! That fits so naturally that when I actually played the game it confused me a bit.

4:03 INSCRYPTION!!!!
Not being able to walk through a drilled hole is weird. Sure were robots but humans can fit through a hole half the size
5:00 LADDER?
I had to "cheat" on the Seesaw puzzel, I could not figure it out. I stole a beam from another puzzle and bounced it in to the Seesaw to finish it xD
I mean, it is a solution; actually, if the game allows you to do it without glitchin, I'd say is a valid one, not cheating
I think I'm going to have to sit these videos out. Not because I don't like them, but because this game is too cool and I want to get to play it blind
Tyler drilling lots of holes in this video
Does anyone know where can I find all the videos from him playing talos 1?
"Holy DEER!" Exactly😂😂😂
29:15 the puzzler is not puzzled as to why he solves puzzles.
