PARGA, GREECE - Evening Time in Parga Town - Night Walk Through Beautiful Parga

- Parga Attractions. Parga, Greece by Night Summer 2020 during the coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic. The Greek name for the town of Parga is Πάργα. Parga comes to life at night. This is an evening walking tour through Parga town while we were there on summer holiday in 2020 during the corona virus (covid-19) pandemic. Our Tour of Parga is not narrated and the audio is from the natural sounds around us (no music). This Walking Tour starts at the Castle of Parga which overlooks the town. From the castle we make our way downward through the town passing shops, cafes, restaurants and bars until we reach the seafront area which is the main area of Nightlife in Parga. Tourists visiting this Greek town are spoilt for choice as regards restaurants. The Parga seafront and it´s harbour area come to life at night with restaurants offering traditional Greek Food, Italian Food, Chinese Food and even Gluten-Free Foods.
If you are looking for Late-Night Nightlife with clubs and DJ´s playing music to the early hours of the morning, then Parga is not the Greek holiday resort town you are looking for. There is a very limited Nightlife in Parga (Πάργα) and we were told by locals that that is the way they want to keep it.
When we have completed our walking tour of Parga's restaurants and bars by the seafront area, we make our way to the jetty and show you the area where the Day Trip Boats and Beach Taxis sail from. We then carry on walking past the Krioneri Beach, which lies a short distance from the town centre. It is on this beach the small island of Virgin Mary is situated across the bay. Our Evening Walking Tour Through Parga ends close by our hotel, The Villa Rossa, which is located on the end of Krioneri Beach.
We had a fantastic 2020 summer holiday in Greece despite the coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic and we can highly recommend Parga as a Greek summer holiday destination. Parga, Greece has so much to offer both during the day and at night. Parga may be located on the Greek mainland but it still has a Greek Island feel. In our opinion Parga was a better Greek holiday destination than many of the more well know Greek Islands. We hope this Parga Walking Tour By Night gives you a feeling of the atmosphere and what you can expect when you visit this Greek Resort Town during the summer.

Thanks for watching, this area really came to life during the evenings, during the day it was quite while Greeks had siesta and tourists were on the beach or on excursions. Masks are not worn outdoors in many EU countries so not abnormal at all. In Greece while we were there we had to wear masks in supermarkets, taxis and on public transport. Seems to be a cosy small village by the seaside. It's always nice to take a walk during the evening and feel the atmosphere and to eat the local food with drinks. but I was a bit surprised that no one was wearing any masks. Great video and looking forward the coming videos from Parga.
It was a cozy village indeed, during the day when you walked you could really feel that people were having long siestas as many shops were closed and their were not many people around (tourists were at the beach or on excursions). There was no mask wearing rules except for when entering supermarkets, taxis and public transport (while we were there). More Parga videos are on the way. Have a good day! This is a wonderful walk in Parga. It's so lively at night. Very nice video. Everyone enjoying themselves. Beautiful harbour. D shops along d staircases remind me of Torremolinos in southern Spain.

A Nice city tour to visit with many tourists 🌟 and little strange with no mask 🤔😷.

There are many European countries where masks are not worn as the infection rates are low. Here in DEnmark where we live you only have to wear them when using public transport.

Looks a lovely bustling resort. Reminded me a little of holidays we have had in Italy. Love walking along the front in the eve. I was surprised at how few masks were being worn. We are still in France and masks in busy outdoor areas such as markets are mandatory. We’re getting very used to wearing them 🙄❤️🇬🇧
Good morning Lynn! It was a lovely place and funny you should say that it reminded you of holidays in Italy, that was exactly what we said and why we chose this place to visit! It was fantastic walking up to and down from the castle during the warm evenings, such a nice atmosphere and most of the tourists were actually Greeks from Athens and other mainland areas so we got a nice Greek atmosphere. Many EU countries including Greece and Denmark where we live do not require a mask to be on everywhere. In Parga, Greece we wore masks in supermarkets and on public transport (there may be more places required now) and in Denmark we wear masks on Public Transport, stations and of course in the airport and aircraft. Social distancing on the walking streets of Parga could however have been better. Nice to hear that you are still in France. Yes one does get used to the masks, but when a solution comes for the coronavirus situation then the mask requirements must also disappear again ;-) Thanks again for watching and for LIKING our video. Gracias por ver nuestro video y por recordar dejarlo como LIKE. Las mascarillas no son un requisito en algunos países de la UE ya que la tasa de infección es baja. En Grecia había que llevar máscaras en los supermercados y en el transporte público. Grecia, como Dinamarca, donde vivimos, fue uno de los primeros países de la UE en bloquear y controlar así el diferencial. ¡Estamos de acuerdo en que el distanciamiento social en las calles podría haber sido mejor! Que tengas una buena semana por delante :-D

Interesting video, although I prefer it when you are speaking, passing on bits of information on places you're at. Not a criticism, just my personal view. As others have said, surprisingly lack of masks, especially for Greece. Can I ask what editing software you use? All the best :)

Do you know if there are any nightclubs/discothekas that are open there right now? If not, are the bars still interesting enough for a few nights of partying for 3 guys in their early 20's?

Hi there and thanks for watching, we are actually Danish (Maxi is Danish, Maro is Finnish), we just use Google Translate for a rough translation to Dutch ;-) We did not use the nightlife in Parga, there are bars but we did not see much that looked like nightclubs. We spoke with some local people who said that Parga did not want to become a Party Town! It is an awesome place to visit but we would not say that we experienced it as a place to party all night ;-) Hope that helps a little! Have a good trip where ever you choose to go! Very nice video. Love the hot evenings walking around the towns. I have visited many Greek islands the last 25 years but never mainland cities. I hope i can put Parga on the list some day. Seams there is a lot of people. Wonder how it would be in a "normal" year. (in most of the clips there is a lady in yellow pants trying to avoid you and walk away ) 🤣🤣🤣

We can highly recommend Parga as a holiday destination, we actually preferred it to some of the more popular Greek islands we have visited ;-) There were relatively many people most of whom were Greek tourists from Athens and around Greece. We were told that there were normally even more people so we were lucky to experience Parga like this. HaHa, the lady in Yellow Pants, don´t you start now Henrik, HaHa!! (To those reading this - Maro, the lady in the yellow pants, is often ahead in the video in many clips and as a result we have had some viewers who have asked why I am following that lady!!! ;-) )
Me and my family have visited Greek mainland for over 20 years, it's amazing! The people, food, culture, nature, etc.Very easy to travel around as the infrastructure is very good. Probably the best food we ever tried.

I love Greece and it's a nice video but looks like nobody is really concerned with the pandemic going on.
It was a fantastic place to visit. Masks are not worn outdoors in many EU countries including here. Masks (while we were there had to be worn in taxis, public transport and in supermarkets). P.S.It is good to also think about something other than the coronavirus every now and again... imagine if we all had to walk around looking concerned all the time until a vaccine was found! ;-)

No tourist trap,have been to Parga several times and it is one of our familys top destination. Parga is a genuine greek small town with greeks as main tourists as it lies on the greek mainland. Therefore the overall quality is higher then traditional tourist resorts. World-class destination!

Was a nice video showing the ambience of the area.
Except for the odd shield or mask, a nice example of what travel will look like when things return to normal. Not all this "new normal" insanity that the MSM like to shove down people's throats.
We want to see the "Old Normal" come back - of course the new hygiene tricks we have learnt must stay (washing hands etc.). Parga is an amazing place and if we return this year we hope that we are met with the same or better travel conditions :-D
