PARGA, GREECE - Lichnos Beach a Short Taxi Boat Ride from Parga Town

- Parga Attractions. We are in the town of Parga (Πάργα) in Greece. In this video we take you on a tour of Lichnos Beach and show you how to get to this beach by Taxi Boat from Parga Harbour. Lichnos Beach, located on the east coast of the Greek town of Parga, is one of the Parga Beaches which is easy to reach by Taxi Boat and the boat trip takes around 20 minutes. In this video we show you where to buy tickets at the Parga Harbor and also tell you about some of the other Parga Beaches the Boat Taxis sail to. The return price of the boat taxis between Parga Harbour and the Parga Beaches they sail to is reasonable. We bought a return ticket and departed to Lichnos Beach from Parga Habour and returned later on during the afternoon to Parga Harbor. We very much enjoyed the boat ride to the beach but also enjoyed the ride on the sea along the Parga coastline as a sightseeing tour of Parga and the surrounding area. One can drive to Lichnos Beach from Parga Town but in our opinion catching a Boat Taxi and sailing to the beach is most fun and probably less expensive than a road taxi. Lichnos Beach also has a good selection of hotels, a camping ground (caravan park), tavernas , restaurants and a supermarket / Mini market.
We had a fantastic 2020 summer holiday in Greece despite the coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic and we can highly recommend Parga as a Greek summer holiday destination. Parga, Greece has so much to offer both during the day and at night. Parga may be located on the Greek mainland but it still has a Greek Island feel. In our opinion Parga was a better Greek holiday destination than many of the more well know Greek Islands. We hope that this video about one of the Parga Beaches, Lichnos Beach, and how to get there by taxi boat will help you plan your holiday in this beautiful little town in Greece.
Other beaches in and around Parga, Greece include Krioneri Beach, Spartila Beach, Sarakiniko Beach, Piso Krioneri Beach, Plakero, Agios Sostis Beach, Agios Giannakis Beach and Valtos Beach. Many of these beaches are also accessible by Boat Taxi leaving from the Parga Harbor.
Wiki writes about the town of Parga in Greece, "Parga (Greek: Πάργα [ˈpaɾɣa]) is a town and municipality located in the northwestern part of the regional unit of Preveza in Epirus, northwestern Greece. The seat of the municipality is the village Kanallaki. Parga lies on the Ionian coast between the cities of Preveza and Igoumenitsa. It is a resort town known for its natural environment.."

First time i stay at hotel Lichnos beach was 1989. Now i see many sunbeds. But nice to see it back 👍.

Owing to the 2020 Coronavirus there were far less tourists in Parga than usual hence the beaches were not packed. Have a good Sunday :-D

Beautiful town, delicious reasonably priced food (with good portions) nice surrounding areas, clean beaches and hot sunny weather, what more could we ask for! Water taxis are terrific Maxi n Maro , I am sure you will agree on that . I caught one when I was in Port Vila in Vanuatu from where our ship docked to get into town and it was much better than the previous trip there where we caugh a road taxi which was in a very rundown condition,not that it worried us , yep our fare was five dollars each person each way ,great value ! Beaut scenery , good to soak up that Vitamin D guys

Had to watch again . This place is heaven I’m so so impressed . The only concern is the heat as I’m red then white but mags is white red and then a Beautiful brown .
It is a wonderful part of Greece and the town and its buildings are so beautiful, something between Italian and Greek styles! Heat was not a problem (only when we twice forgot to take enough water with us), we always use enough suncream in the first days and then gradually bring down the sun factor. We highly recommend Parga as a destination and would choose this destination over the islands! ;-)

I really enjoyed this video. The resort looks absolutely stunning. I think a vacation in Greece next year is called for! I just had my flights to Spain in October cancelled by the airline due to the virus. Your videos really do cheer me up!

Hi there Semsem, thanks for watching! Masks no, regulations at the time we were there was just that you had to wear in supermarkets. Towards the end of our stay regulations came for mask wearing on ferries too. Maxi is very touchy about cold water, we found the water to be too cold on the island of Kos but here the water was warm, once you got in you did not want to get out!
