    I would love to see a tutorial on how you transition from forwards and backwards so easily, I always need to jump to go back forwards

      I had this issue too. The key was stretching for me. Got to open your range of mobility. After a while I was just able to turn my hips and step out of it with ease

    i love how the one guy you spoke to denounced the lost cause myth. it rlly is an all too common perversion of what really caused the war.

    is it ever hard to skate on brick roads/sidewalks? im thinking about purchasing my own pair and i would like to know what to avoid as a beginner

    • @Skating_Squid
      @Skating_Squid  2 года назад

      Yeah some brick roads that aren’t tight can be tricky

    • @uu3903
      @uu3903 2 года назад

      It's best to learn on smooth surfaces at first. Softer wheels will feel smoother but roll slower and require more of your energy. Also big wheels roll over cracks and gaps more easily without tripping you up.

    Learning history about the war doesn't mean they are heroes and you are wimps. You don't know what you are capable of if something so important is at stake.

    The Battlefield is a cemetery of sorts and treated as such more than a recreation area. While skating, you may have walked among the remains of Confederate soldiers. Federal soldiers were moved from the battlefield and given proper burials, not all Confederates were given the same and were buried and left on the battlefield. . “GettysNerds” get quite upset when the battlefield is treated as a park and why you were warned.
    No, it was not about shoes but that’s a popular fallacy.
