Glarry GGS101 - Bootstrap HB-90 Clean - 5E3 Tweed Deluxe | Tone Test

The Bootstrap pickups make this guitar sound really cool into the 5E3. It has an old timey semi hollow tone. Very sharp pick attack and spanky, but with some woody warmth from the semi hollow body.

I have their P-90s in my Gretsch, which is a similar guitar, and they are great for that twangy clean Rockabilly thing. Mine are wound and made more like tele pickups inside the P-90s, just awesome.

Alnico 2, 3 or 5? Also would you consider the mean HB-90’s? I have a firefly 338 and I’d like to get some bootstrap pickups. Just not sure which model.
