I know a lot of people give Iron Banana grief, but it's such a casual and fun experience for players compared to trials. More PvP encouraging non-PvP players to join in is what the ecosystem needs to rebuild the population. Keep Trials, but something more casual to get people interested in dipping their toes in can help. Not to mention, have loot like this rocket side arm. I would prefer alternately weeks between Trials and Banana imo.

Telesto is DIRTY in 6s now. Currently running my titan as void with the devour helmet and dusted off an old friend to run with Telesto. Crafted Austringer STILL slaps, and pairs with Telesto the Besto beautifully. Still only have one chill clip roll (with reverb... ugh...) so gonna be farming a lot this weekend. Fun times with the Besto :P

I focused maybe 15 IB engrams last night trying to get that sidearm. In the last five that I focused, I got two of the sidearm with loose change and chill clip. Before that, I got chill clip with two different rolls.
I wish you could change the look of an exotic with legendary gear! So you can "wear" the entire drip! Make it cost an exotic cipher or deepsight but let it happen!
Iron Banner definitely feels more fun because a lot of people that don't play PVP but want the rocket sidearm are playing it. I include myself on that list, it's fun to play with and against noobs

So I threw on a passable build, cued up a bunch of RUclips videos and just dropped in an didn't give even a fraction of a F about the outcome or how I'm doing, just none of it, no F's given at all. I found that way I'm actually having a little fun with it and the pvp grind isn't as brain rotting as it has been in the past.
Got my Chill Clip + Loose Change roll on second focus. Pissed off about it, though. Spent 3 weeks grinding Haunted Lost Sectors: no god rolls. All last week grinding Vesper's Host for Velocity Baton: no (current) god rolls. 1 hour in Iron Banner: 3 god rolls. This game is annoying.

Quick question. Can you still earn the stasis rocket sidearm from iron banner engrams if you HAVEN’T claimed the curated roll from the 4th rank up? I’m only asking this because I’ve heard that the curated roll will reset on Friday so there’s a possibility it’ll be a guaranteed chill clip. That being said I ain’t about to grind for the armor without the possibility of getting the sidearm on the side
Hold up, is no one going to mention how Hamkara is bugged? They said it would only give 6% per solar ability hit in crucible and 33% elsewhere, but every single time he uses an ability to damage them, it gives the 33% per enemy.
@Reviverey Except that only affects the grenade energy when using the melee, and it happens when he uses his grenade too. Not only that but those mods cap at 10% return plus the 6% they said initially, and you still don't have the full amount we see him get back

I used iron banner engrams to buy iron banner ornament and got screwed. It went to modifications I unlocked it tried to equip it and it was nowhere to be found. It is not in my ornaments menu.

Iron banner is not that painful imo. It's only painful when people decide to play like it's trials and play their life to not get the zones.

Telesto still does no damage 10 meters and in. Fixing dps does nothing if it’s inconsistent at those ranges

Iron Banner is downright enjoyable compared to trials. I’d rather have Iron Banner every week compared to doing even 1 match of trials
