- I felt compelled to make a Roman tribute after the conclusion of season 3 of RWBY. This is my first AMV so please be nice. I hope you enjoy.

I cried a little when I watched this.

That was actually pretty sad. Great send off for a great villain.
you know what, i really want him to come back, but if he doesn't i hope that Roosterteeth knows how much we all liked this character. so it makes me happy to see new videos for him :) i hope this keeps up and they realize they made a great decision to keep him around. also im probably misinterpreting the song but i think of this when i heard it: the worst of the situation in vale is now under control but grimm attacks are still quite frequent and the city is in ruins. with all communications cut off they cant call for help from any of the other kingdoms, it is a struggle to just survive in this city now. Roman survives the crash and is now wandering the city alone and cant find Neo. he fights grimm almost every day because he stays on the outskirts of the city (if he went into the city too far they would find him) he is tired and just wants a place to rest but he knows no one would be willing to take him him. he's starting to wonder if everything he's been doing was even worth it, worth losing Neo, worth being on the run in a ruined city. he know's he's not forgiven, but he just needs a place to sleep.
idk i thought i would share this little idea since its what came to mind listening to this song and watching the video. great video by the way i love it! :) wait it was your FIRST amv???? GET OUTTA TOWN! no really.....this is WAY TOO good to be your first! wow great job!
+TheEmberSeeker I like your idea. When I was making it, I was thinking he was ether injured or maybe even dead after the airship want down. He would be looking back at the choices he had made that lead him to that fate, and probably regretting them. I do hope he survived somehow. Neo and Roman are my favorites.
And yep, This is my first AMV. I've done some video editing for school projects and stuff, but nothing like this. So, I'm really glad you liked it. :)
+TheEmberSeeker if roman is forced to be dead i hope the following reveals/events happen.
neo is revealed to have silver eyes and uses her semblance to hide her true bloodline (maybe roman never knew this about her and took her when she was in need for help generating their pseudo father/daughter relationship)
neo finds romans corpse or remains.
neo finds out who was responsible for killing roman.
neo inherits his cane and bowler hat and becomes team RNJR's "hunter" if you know what i mean.
yeah, given that Neo's semblance is illusions it would be quite easy for her to hide her silver eyes so this could work.but even if she doesnt have silver eyes i still totally see her going after team RNJR for revenge (specifically Ruby) also i saw some fanart on Tumblr that showed her with the hat and cane and im like "wow! they suit her really well!"
however i thought i might share a little thing i found since we're talking about silver eyes. now i know everyone tells me im reading into things too much and its just a mistake in the animation program but i think its an odd mistake to just let slip by.
go watch the Roman Torchwick scenes in volume 1 chapter 1, voumel 1 chapter 16 and volume 2 chapter 1. now tell me:what color is Roman's eyes? green? take another look.
tell me if you get what i'm saying ;)
TheEmberSeeker what specific scenes should i look for. his eyes based on how well i could see them considering distance look either a deep green or a darker emerald shade.
+lunerblade13 oh the up close shots. The distance shot almost always make people's eyes look darker so I'm not going by those. In ep 1 vol 1 it right at the beginning (eyes are green) in ep 16 go to the part right before he shoots at Ruby it give a really up close shot (eyes are gray with hints of green, although all the other shots make them look gray) in vol 2 ep 1 right after Cinder says "you'll know what you need when you need to know" it shows a very up lose shot of him and his eyes are completely either black or dark gray but NO gray. Now like I said before it's probably nothing, but it's quite a strange detail to leave unchecked, maybe it's the lighting? Other characters eye color shifts but I don't think they do THAT much. Meh it's just a thought, I think it would be cool if it turns out he WAS a silver eyed warrior.
Revisiting since the VA of Torchwick died. He had one great scene again in the recent RWBY episode, but he was a dead man walking IRL. Just imagine voicing a ghost when you're dying...
This is a great send off for a great villain I hope he comes back
i hope neo comes back wearing his hat, armed with both umbrella and cane, and reveals that she was a silver eyed warrior in hiding using her semblance to hide her true eye color.

When RWBY was still a good show... When Roman died and Cinder came back as a different villain, the story had lost it. The story got lost and the pacing was all over the place.
