Jeanette should have never brought her back to the studio. They were both at fault.
Okay yes Abby didn't have to about it that way, but it's not Abby's fault that she's tall. It's no different than not getting an acting role because they want someone short or with a different hair color or in that another season when they did that video audition and Nia knew she wasn't gonna get it because she didn't look like the artist. Also, Payton got kicked off for basically the same reason it just wasn't as harsh
i agree that was very mean of abby to do that to that poor girl. and i also blame avas mom for putting her through that embarrassment time again. but also in the real world during castings they will have criteria like being a certain height, having a certain hair colour, or eye colour etc and sometimes you just do not meet that criteria.

Abby only said that about Ava's height to make it clear to Jeanette that they were off the team. Remember, almost all the time, it's not the dancer that Abby has issues with, it's their parent.

Is nobody gonna talk about how awful this really is? Like this young girl probably had super insecurity issues because of this.
True, but she also had insecurity issues prior, and she had already been told that she wasn’t on the team anymore. Abby specifically stated that she wasn’t what they were looking for for the select team. Her mother is the reason this all happened, and now she is in a movie for being tall. It isn’t a great scenario, but it is not Abby’s fault.
Ava was being so polite though! She said “thank you for the opportunity” which any other dancer there on probation or a guest dancer would have yelled. Like if you agree.
That's because she has more class in her pinkie thank than Abby has in her whole body!

A lot of times the dancers that suffer are because their moms don’t know how to talk when it’s a better time. Jeanette just randomly came it and out Ava in a spot to be hurt. Anyways I don’t think it was meant to be like she’s not allowed to be in the group anyone. If the girls were taller, Ava could’ve joined in too. Since Abby did say “you’re too tall for us today.” So she implied that right now she’s not the best option for the team right now. Her mother didn’t get that while Ava was standing there quietly.

Abby had already given professional reasons as to why she could no longer be in the team, so when they came back yet again and claimed they should be on the team and they were never kicked off Abby compared Ava and Chloe's heights just to make a plain simple reason she cannot be on the team, she doesn't actually care about how tall the child is in their team(they had a 16 year old on the team that was much taller than the other girls) but Abby just got tired of the girl and used a simple reason to get her out, what Abby did was fair.
