Will there be a follow-up video with deep dives into the engineering? David is the guy for such videos.

David and Jason Cammisa need to sit down and settle their differences on the Bronco Raptor as a canyon cruiser. I'm in camp Jason. Sorry David.

The question that remains unanswered is how would a 1976 Postal jeep have done on this very same course?

Nice job guys. I’m anxiously awaiting news about my build. My order went in minutes after the order bank opened in early March (Code Orange) .. curious if Sport mode improved the Braptors highway manners at all. The 37’s tall sidewalls combined with the overall ride height is almost impossible to defy physics. Nice driving in the off-road segments.

I'm leaning towards no on sport mode changing your highway driving. Sport mode in my F150. Raptor makes the shifts more aggressive. You will want to drive the Bronco Raptor in normal mode on the highway.

Should really be compared to a postal service jeep. To give it a match.
P.s. No sound issues at all

In terms of the steering the bronco raptor has different steering modes.. are you sure its on "normal" there is a comfort mode that sounds like what youre describing in terms of a transient delay after you move the sterring wheel. " put the vehicle in "normal" or "sport" to avoid the delay. There is an steering wheel button on the wheel along with the raptor symbol and shock dampening modes.

The bronco raptor is capable rock crawling and high speed... It has shocked many journalist. It could use a bit more power. Lol. Overall ford nailed it.. You mentioned 15 mpg at the end? It will be better than that during warmer weather easily.. My 17 Raptor gets more than that in the summer time. Winter it drops down because of gas mixes and warm up time.

I could tell the suspension is bouncy. Not close to DR's. I hope multimatic makes one for the braptor.

From what I see and your comments. There is no way I would buy this. For the same money I could almost buy a used ultra 4, which would crush the bronco. I'm so disappointed in Ford with the raptor edition. Why didn't they put a Coyote engine in it? It's supposed to be a high performance edition!
Incidently, I've spent far less money on my wrangler and have more Horse power, more axle articulation, far better angles.
It's nice (that's all I can say). An old International Scout would be WAY more fun!!!

Fast forward a year later and the Bronco Raptor is the current reigning champion of King of the Hammers in its category. Coyote engine would be too much of powerband discrepancy and displacement, plus weight distribution will be way off. The Ford Perfomance team specifically tuned the 3.0 for the Bronco Raptor for off road racing first and foremost, while making it more than capable to do everything else and be a comfortable daily driver. Now we’re realizing why FP went this route vs a V8.

HEY I HAVE A QUESTION? WHERE IS THE LOCATION IN THE BEGINNING WHEN YOU FIRST STARTED DRIVING? I ALSO WANTED TO SAY THAT FOR THE MOST PART THIS TRUCK IS OVERKILL AND USELESS. I LIKE "SOME" OFF ROADING TOO. BUT THERE IS A POINT WHERE RIDICULOUS IS JUST RIDICULOUS. I MEAN, WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND IS GOING TO CHOOSE TO DRIVE OVER BOULDERS???? WHY? JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN? I DONT GET THAT. THE TRUCK IS COOL, FUN, EXCITING, OK, BUT ITS NOT PRACTICAL.. MOST NEW "OFF ROAD" TRUCKS CAN HANDLE MOST OFF ROAD CONDITIONS.. BUT AGAIN, THERE SHOULD BE A "PURPOSE" TO GOING "OFF ROAD". JUST TO GO TO PLACES WHERE IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR OTHER VEHICLES TO DRIVE IN? TO ME, IS A WASTE OF TIME, AND WHOEVER DOES THAT? IS JUST LOOKING FOR PROBLEMS OF ALL KINDS! WHO NEEDS THAT? WHO WANTS THAT? AND FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE THAT DO? IT FIGURES THAT THEY WOULD ALL HAVE THE COMPLETELY CRIMINAL PRICE OF $80+THOUSAND DOLLARS TO GET ONE OF THESE.. WANT TO CROSS COUNTRY? WANT TO DRIVE INTO MEXICO OR CANADA AND ALASKA? OK! JUST INCASE? YOU SHOULD USE ONE OF THESE.. BUT THIS IS REALLY A VEHICLE FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN THE MIDDLE EAST! THEIR CITIES AND ROADS REQUIRE THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE.. BUT NOT IN AMERICA, AND NOT FOR MOST PEOPLE.. IT IS NICE TO KNOW YOU HAVE A VEHICLE TO GET YOU THROUGH JUST ABOUT ANY SITUATION TERRAIN WISE.. BUT AGAIN, HOW OFTEN WILL YOU EVER FIND YOURSELF IN THOSE EXTREME SITUATIONS?????? AND CAN YOU AFFORD TO BE PREPARED FOR IT EVER YOU DO??????? : / WE COULD JUST GET A FORD BRONCO BADLANDS AND ADD SOME FENDER FLAIRS, 37 INCH TIRES AND A TURBO CHARGER!!! AND SAVE $50,000!
