This could explain why you can find Captain Toad in each kingdom in Odyssey

It is now my headcanon that the inverted pyramid started floating because Captain Toad pulled a switch, and Mario just assumed it was because of him.

The Cascade Kingdom looks like a nice place to relax. The sound of the waterfalls is so serene, and the dinosaur skeletons are a sight to see.
Ironically when I was watching this, A Captain Toad Treasure Tracker ad for the Nintendo Switch popped up lol.

I would have loved if there were levels for all the SMO kingdoms. It would have been cool if they added even more stages aswell, like Moray Towers from Splatoon, and even more stuff from other Nintendo Games.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a prequel to Super Mario Odyssey?! Wait a minute, I thought Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is the prequel to Super Mario 3D World!
It is. In some kingdoms in SMO you can find captain toad and he gives you power moons. But since this is a port of the Wii U version, they replaced the 3D world levels with Odyssey levels since 3D world won't be on the switch

Luncheon kingdom: just toad literally destroyed all of mount volbono when the volcano overheated

This hurts my head how it's mixed of odyssey and 3D world at the same time and blends together so we'll even tho they're different in so many ways including style and animation

Even though the Super Mario 3D World-inspired levels did not appear in both the Switch and the 3DS versions of this game, perhaps they may appear via DLC in the future. Interesting that Toadette did not have a role in the Super Mario Odyssey-inspired levels as she was in the game but only appearing in Peach's Castle in the Mushroom Kingdom.
