In the Syncopated Separation part where you the "and 1 and 2" syncopation after the first counts of 1-8, don't make the stamps too obvious noise-wise. Too loud of a stamp will frustrate what you are technically doing not only in this paso figure - but also the whole dance. Focus on more on balls of the feet than the heel in this figure and you will get it. Regrettably, this dance routine ends before the hitting of the 2nd highlight. Since I know this paso song ("Spanish Gypsy Dance"), keenly there is a short version of this paso song with 2 highlights, and a longer one with 3 of them. But there is a caveat...... Restricted gold means you need to be careful in the usage of Paso Doble highlight poses. Death drops or floor lines used in highlights are not allowed in gold (only in novice to championship levels), so focus on mainly the Spanish lines you can use as highlights instead - including a school figure called the Spanish Lines, where you can hold in Open CPP or Open PP proudly like the matadors without the risk of being marked down.
Obviously you decided not to hit the first highlight pose fearing that you could be caught doing open work - deciding to finish the non-highlight figure as is. It is possible you can use the Spanish Line to replace it if you must hit that line within the levels.

At the high level, you will get songs with completely different beat structures - this is only really champion+ though
