Hey man I got a 1986 sun runner with that same engine and when I got to fire up everything will turn on (all pumps blower lights and accessories) but when I turn the key over nothing happens have good battery just don’t really know where to start. Is there a kill switch somewhere on the boat?
yes your neutral safety switch. try jumping the starter. there's a small yellow wire to starter, that's the solenoid wire. the purple one goes to your coil, and the big red one to battery. jump from big red one. to the yellow and see if motor turns over. please do it with key off first for safety.
Nice video! Are you still building!? I have a 350 Volvo Penta and it blew up >2000 hrs on the clock. I’m having another small block motor built now and will have to do the break in myself. I think I have a good builder but Just wondering if you have any advice?
