- Filmed on March 15, 2016: What a complete beauty of this elevator here!!!!! It's got an entrance door up on the top floor with a regular center opening doors inside of it. This was worth checking out! I did not film the other ones 'cause the rest have all crappy Schindler hydraulic with horrible RT buttons in which I get tired of seeing.

The big glass doors on the top floor seem to have now been disabled.
Wow! First I thought it was EcoDisc MonoSpace/EcoSpace because of the upper black bar close to the doors.

Interesting how it has that outer automatic door there with the standard elevator setup behind it. I think the construction of the automatic door is separate to the elevator shaft, but then the door sensor is wired in to the elevator controller

That door does not seem to be part of the elevator. It might be there to control access to the elevator, perhaps?

Really? I live in the uk, never seen it before except in a lift in Kingston upon Thames that has a sensor on the outside that will open the lifts doors if it is closing.
The outer door on top is now gone.

The reason the doors open slow on the upper landing is because the air inside the cab has to "balance" otherwise, your ears would pop harshly from the extreme pressure change... WELCOME TO CHICAGO!

Nice elevator there. It certainly likes to park itself when not in use. An all-glass elevator or so it looks makes it more appealing to ride on.

I never a glass elevator I have ever seen before.
The reason why there's an automatic door in front of the main lift doors is because a storm could damage the lift and cause problems, so they added the additional door to protect the lift.
But if they removed the extra door that’s not the reason

The entrance door opens much faster than the elevator doors. Interestingly, Kone makes automatic entrance doors as well.

The coke bottle in vegas has a very similar one, and its even better caus its inside a giant 100ft tall coke bottle!! Also hydraulic and also makes those noises.

If this elevator is new, then it's not Kone. Kone stopped making hydraulic elevators in 2007, today they only install traction.
