Thanks for the video and the breakdown on features, I have one and I am liking this camera but hopefully they continue to work on the settings and options. When battery save is on, screen lock is always set to 1 min, so when you record video for over 1 min it locks the screen during recording. Auto exposure changes during recording, it could do with more exposure control/settings or maybe scene modes.

Is there a way to utilize the stabilization feature if editing on a desktop?

One slight correction to your video - the focus units are cm and feet (not inches)
Are RUclips metadata added to video files automatically or do I miss something? I cannot find the so-called qoocam metadata injector software online. Any advice is highly welcome.
I just realized the android app is still 4.3.0 and doesn't have the stabilization yet actually :(
Great video - to start. I just got my EGO camera a few days ago.
Documentation instructions need work.
I ran into overheat issues while trying to connect camera to Hot Spot. Camera was On for about 15 -20 minutes. Otherwise camera 3D performance and video quality were excellent out of the box.
I NEED HELP! How do I update camera firmware?? I currently have no Battery Save option or ability to reduce possible battery overheating.
Download the f/w off the website, put it on the memory card, and put it in the camera. Power on and wait.

My iPhone Kandao app is v4.3.0 and I don't have Stabilization setting on the app. Camera firmware is v2.0.10?

I opened up the qoocam app on my iPhone and there was a prompt to update my firmware. By connecting my EGO to my iPhone using the Hot Spot function, I was able to update the firmware on the EGO. Only problem- I can no longer establish a video link between the EGO and the iPhone. When I launch the app and link up with the EGO, the EGO screen goes dark - as it did before the firmware update, but now both the iPhone and EGO screens are both black. The only new SW setting I made in the EGO is to turn on the Battery Save feature. I'll need to switch it off and see what happens.
I got connected with the app, but when I try to access the video album on the android phone, the app crashes. It is a wifi only phone so no hotspotting is possible. Solutions?
Works here with phone Hotspot in Android. New f/w out 7-1-2022.
@@z352kdaf8324 My hotspot on the Note5 doesn't work because it isn't hooked to phone service. My tracphone does have phone service but the Blu phone isn't compatible with the Kandao app. I did download yesterday's firmware, but the app still crashes when trying to access the photo and video albums. I did see with the firmware they gave the ability to transfer with usb. I will probably try to find a usb-c to mini usb cord to try that tonight.

Yikes. That phone too old. I retired my note 3 for months ago. Using s22 ultra here.
Bought….and returned the Ego. Battery life LESS than an hour. Overheats. Constant reconnecting to wfi. Controls erratic. Stabilization marginal. A dud.
Kandao really doesnt care how far from production ready their junk is before they push it out for sale. It took months for them to get the video to FOCUS. Yup, you could not shoot a video in focus for months after getting the camera. That required a firmware fix because nobody had thought about that. Still have no ability to edit vides outside of your phone, so for gods sake, dont actually use the camera and do something stupid like shoot 40 videos at a party thinking you will be editing them all at once by pushing a few buttons on your desktop, nope, you will be using a phone and going into them one by one. Just a horrible maker. This is why people get turned off to 3d stuff. Because of stupid products like this that are about a year away from being production ready. This will make people buy a 3d camera, hate it, crap quality, not even in focus, quit using it, then they are done. This is the exact best way to ensure NOBODY gets into 3d.
